No they won't as this watch runs on a different OS all together.

Also my O2 esim sprang to life this morning. Working fine now without my phone.

Not sure if it was the recent update but I'm now getting sound and vibration for Gmail.

is that sound a vibration on gmail only working for the LTE esim models ?

Same as me, thought it would offer both.

Since an update last year, my Active 2 no longer auto detect my workouts. Cycling, Rowing etc all used to auto detect. Now its only walking and running. Was hoping it would be fixed on my Watch 4....still the same :( What did Samsung do!?!?

Well popped watch back on wrist this morning no notifications working I've changed nothing overnight ,reboot of phone and watch didn't fix had to factory reset watch to get notifications working . 4 years of tizen no problems 1 week of google hmmm
 
I have 58% battery left after 1 day of my 'normal' use (after all the playing since I received it) so I'm getting roughly half of what I was getting on my Galaxy Watch 46mm which was 4 days minimum.
I suppose its not too bad but I'm not exactly a power user either.

Its always been said Google watch OS is a battery drain

Hmm even after reset I'm missing certain notifications even tho ticked emails and texts not showing on the watch

Mine is on the latest FW so even after I uninstalled Galaxy app on phone which resets the watch and I didn't use restore I'm still missing certain notifications even tho all ticked.

Something must have happened overnight to my watch or phone to cause this .

At this rate the watch will be going back and I'll keep my GW3 which worked flawless :(
 
My Galaxy Watch 46mm worked flawless but up to now I have little to complain about with the Galaxy watch 4, just little things which I pretty much knew before purchase, but at the end of the day it has to deliver what is required for the user, or else why upgrade.

I'm sure updates will fix most issues in the near future, I just hope samsung listen to their customers. You need to report any bugs through Samsung members, I have, and had a response from them.
 
Any recommendations for a fitness watch under around £200?

Looking for multi sport activities like:
Kettlebells/clubs/maces
Indoor rowing
Kayak/stand-up paddle

Open water swimming - but not a deal breaker

Walking & running (which I assume they all do)
I have a Wahoo bolt for cycling so that's not an issue


I'd like maps and space for podcasts/music and a speaker if possible

Don't care about text alerts/calls/sleep tracking/payment

Really interested in good sport tracking software and the ability to measure intensity and long term progress

Everything is grand for me bar the email notification. I still get them, but no sound/vibration. It's not world ending but a pain on an otherwise really nice device.

Watch 4, 44m BT model. I've already done a complete reset and resync along with a firmware update. Sent a bug report to Samsung so hopefully will get an update on it sometime soon.

I spent a good couple of hours going through watch faces before settling on a super minimalist one for the moment. They'll roll in in time, that's the hope anyway.

Come to think of it before the email notifications stopped I wasn't getting sound/vibrations either.

Just gone through and had the missus message me in every way possible. My gmail is the main culprit and just doesn't sound off at all, whatsapp works 95% of the time but some messages(group chats seems to be the worst) don't update on the watch and general texts seem to come through fine(I have no social media so can't test their apps).
