I have got the galaxy watch 4 classic 46 LTE and i think it's worth it, its getting better and better with the firmware updates also. Not to mention if you want to use the new wear os., it's the only watch you can currently get it on. until sometime next year.
 
Overall I'm pretty happy with the GW4 classic, only downside is the battery compared to my original Galaxy Watch but there are so many positives.
People use tech in different ways for different things so it's hard to recommend something for another person without them trying it first for their needs.

Do you not find the battery performance is getting better?. i know mine has for me since the last update. there is a new update due now. so i hope it improves things again. We are early adopters to a new os. and it's new for Samsung, i think they deserve credit where it's due. P.S i love my classic LTE(now they fixed the overheating issue)
 
Yeah the battery life is definitely better than when I first had it but still no where near the 4+ days of my previous watch. It's no issue for me though, I don't wear it for work either.
 
4 day? Zero chance that will ever happen unless you turn off half the features, making it a largely pointless purchase tbh. I have to change it daily, much the same way as mobile. Yes I could turn a lot of stuff off, he'll even turn on dumb mode (time only) big again I'd miss out on half the features I use.

Is the 46mm quite a big watch face? I'm not sure which size I should go for as I don't want walk around with Big Ben on my wrist :D

I really like it, fitness is ok but that's coming from an Apple watch which was excellent for fitness. Changed to the galaxy watch when I got my Pixel 6. Expensive month but no regrets so far. I've had an older Samsung watch before and comparing the two Samsung watchs the Galaxy knocks the spots off the older versions. Only thing missing is Google assistant

Android pay works, you'll want to reassign the buttons to give quick access to it though.
Also if you want the full health stats you will need to install a mod, I think you can get that fromXDA developers but it's only for two of the health functions that normally only work on Samsung phones

You can sideload the google assistant to the galaxy watch 4 btw.

Google Assistant will be added at some point. next year i reckon when the new os goes to more watches. but its no biggie tbh you can already sideload it and it works.
 
Anyone got a Huawei GT2? The watch faces have disappeared from the Health app I've not found a solution to the problem. When I try to open them in the app I just get a blank screen. I've deleted the watch, reinstalled the app and the issue persists.:confused:
