Got a 360 from amazon today

Nice piece of kit, a lot lighter than I was expecting

Just getting it charged up and will do the system update then onto some nice faces

Nice leather strap but for watch that needs to be charged often it's a pain to take off and on, a quick release strap is defo needed imo

I walked in and they hadn't updated the prices in store so got them to check the system for me...correct price of £149.00 applied and bought!

Just charged mines, love the charging dock but I also have another wireless charger which I guess I'll leave in my work.

The leather strap does feel fantastic, premium quality indeed, the device itself overall is nice and light and doesn't feel as awkward as my G Watch did. Looks like a proper watch which is the main thing here.

Looks like there are definitely bargains to be had since V2 is coming for just about all the watches out there and obviously with the Apple Watch release there is some competition to go up against now.
 
So I'm on my first full charge and I have ambient display turned on in the settings for the Moto 360. It seems to be going down at approximately 5% an hour so should get around the 20hrs out of it no problem at all which is certainly fine for me when I can just pop it down on it's wireless charger.

68% now and was taken off of charge at 6:20am so it's lost 32% in just over 6 hours.

Depends on how it functions.
I would guess that it turns on only when it cant see the phone via bluetooth, or maybe its possible to set it either way with priorities.

The v2 could be interesting as the "leaks" shows it to be the same look with the new strap design, so it looks like a v1 with steelconnect m180 adaptors built in.
But unless its a huge jump, which to me would be higher res screen thats amoled, better battery and more reliable heart monitor, then i think i'd skip this next gen and plump for the next as my existing v1 is doing me fine in every capacity frankly.
 
They were all over engadget and the usual android news sites about a month ago. Pictures slipped from some lenovo press shot. Probably not indicative of the final product though in all fairness.
 
I've gone for a Pebble until the 2nd/3rd gens are out. £45 and it'll do what I need for the time being :cool:

I was tempted by the Urbane, but it's just another 1st gen under its skin. I'll wait it out a little :)
 
Anyone having problems with notifications on the moto 360?.
I'm getting notifications coming through to my watch but the watch isn't lighting up. I have to tap the screen to view the notification.
Any ideas?
