Smokers..

I think that a lot of people need to really reflect on their existence, and consider whether or not bitching about someone else's habits on the internet isn't a complete and utter waste of time, saying more about the poster than the smoker.

I smoke in my car, and I will continue to do so :). If I have my window open in traffic and you happen to pull up next to me, I don't really give a ****, it's a slight waft of exhaled smoke at the most (let's face it, in reality it's virtually nothing). How do you guys react to catalytic converter smells, or road works?. Do you just zip yourselves up in a little bubble and ask to be carried to work and back. And why have you got your window open in traffic anyway?, what with there being smokey exhausts nearby etcetc.

Meh, whining ****s.

We bitch about a lot of things on here doesn't mean it will get us anywhere and that is isn't a complete waste of time. This is the idea of an internet forum.

User creates thread, fellow users post opinions and thoughts.

What makes you think that you have a right to drive down a road emitting carbon?. Do you recycle religiously, 're-use' whenever possible and buy only local produce and so on, or is your view hypocritical?.

Possibly, but it's nothing compared to going into a coughing fit the second you can smell cigarette smoke.

As long as it doesn't have a victim, it shouldn't be a crime. Smokers now smoke enough away from non smokers IMO, they bankroll the NHS, the only person they harm are themselves.

AND; there have been no conclusive studies proving that passive smoking is harmful, NONE! It's a lot of assumption, although I beleive above a certain amount, passive smoking is harmful.


I don't smoke. And I do hate the littering.

Because I pay my road tax.

You don't pay a litter tax that allows you to throw stuff out your car window.

Also what on earth has recycling and local produce got to do with some cretin throwing fag butts out the window?

Most do I'm sure when they throw what is essentially litter into the path of other oncoming road users without a second thought.

I don't really care about the whole passive thing. I just hate the foul stentch of second hand smoke and like to avoid it wherever possible especially in the comfort of my own car :)

driving down the road serves a purpose of getting from A to B smoking serves no purpose other than to tarnish your fingers, give you bad breath, stain your teeth, kill your lungs, empty your wallet and litter the roads.
 
I once had a car in front of me flick a burning fag butt out his car which landed in my lap whilst I was riding the bike, he looked rather concerned once I caught back up with him and returned it by popping it back through his open window. :p

Yep go ahead and do what you like inside your car but please don't throw that crap back out into the road and what ever else is behind you.
