It's really not a lame response. My point was that your own lifestyle has just as much of an impact on everyone else as my smoking in a car next to you does.
In essence you're moaning about urban pollution. When you live within a large society you have to accept that some people like to do things that you don't, and you either accept that and endure it (or pass it off, as most people seem to be able to do) or you move to the country-side.
It's just a smaller amount of the small amount of smoke that someone blew out 4 ft away. It's really nothing, and how you have the audacity to moan about it whilst polluting and subjecting pedestrians to your exhaust smoke is ludicrous. No?.

You admit your actions of throwing tabs out the window is not nice and yet you are still trying to justify it.

I don't throw anything out of my car windows.

And there isn't one single reason for anyone to.Other than they have no respect or thought for anyone else.

Its sad,lame and pathetic on every level.

Smokers die younger, and cost the NHS a lot less than a non-smoker living 80+.

But, on topic: 99% of smoker motorists are selfish ****** who don't want to muck up their car with fag ash so they just throw it out of the window. ******* *******.

I quoted the action of throwing tabs out the window.Not the act of smoking in a car.
 
I have to agree with the OP.. I hate the smell of cigerettes. I don't mind people smoking them on their own accord as it's not down to me whether they want to slowly kill themselves or not but I do get annoyed when smokers take no consideration for anyone else nearby. Not everyone wants to smell of cigerettes :p

I get fed up of seeing all the cigerette buts all over the place too! Not a welcoming sight.

I still can't believe people smole in their cars.
Not least because of the damage they do:

Interior smell
Interior stains
Burn Marks
Dirty Ashtrays
Dirty cigarette lighter

On top of that it is a known fact that cars that have been smoked in are worth less second hand.

I've been clean of smoking for coming up to five years now - thank god I kicked the disgucting habit.
However before then I stopped smoking in my car.
It was around the time I bought my very first brand new car and it carried on when 4 years later I bought my next new car.
In all the time I owned those two vehicles nobody ever smoked in them even though for plenty of the time I was a 20+ a day man.
Nobody is allowed to smoke in my car and that has been the case for about 8 years now.
My last "smokers" car - a very old VW Golf was a mess when I traded her in due to the smoke.

Saw a brand new M3 being smoked in the other day. That car will never be the same..
