Yup they took money when I placed the order, though I presume that will be refunded today. I think you'll have got a mail if you've missed out like myself and the other poster above so hopefully if you've not had an e-mail then your order is still good.
 
I saw it on stockinformer.co.uk, have now registered with them for email alerts.

Oh and I only ordered 1 console, I guess it went out of stock while I was completing the checkout process.
 
Story over on Nintendo Life saying that if you ordered 2 or more consoles with Amazon they will bump you down to 1. Emails have been going out it seems.

Think that's a good move, maybe they'll offer more for pre-order, is a shame they didn't let folks with Prime have first bite.

Have heard of a number of US folks preordering with Amazon UK which is a pain, again UK should get priority over other locations on our store.

good point, that seems like a bit of a missed opportunity for them to promote their prime service/get more signups
 
thanks, just tried ordering again... hopefully I won't get a second disappointment e-mail from them


edit - glad I saw this, it is a bit annoying that they rejected some orders earlier then they've updated new stock available for ordering again....

Will be keeping my fingers crossed it sticks this time.
 
stock informer for me shows it had stock at 7pm to 8pm but no other times.

for the last 2 weeks I have been on my computer working in the evening, to show my luck in this, last night I was feeling really tired so had a 3 hour nap pretty much when tesco opened up its orders, like the rest of the mess there was no forewarning, it just suddenly appeared on their website.

I do have my order from dutch retailer bol tho so is something.

An example of what I mean is this

argos have relisted the mini snes and for 3 days it has just said this "We’ll have this ready to order shortly"

Shortly is a very vague word, whats so hard them saying something like.

"We’ll have this ready to order at 6th july 7pm"

Interesting been half a dozen alerts this morning on mine all bogus though unless the few seconds for me to get there was too slow.
