SNES Mini Classic

Will pick mine up later if there is not a stock "discrepancy".

In fairness to Argos, their internal stock systems are diabolical :p

I picked my second up at lunchtime from game (sorry, gone to a friend) and there was a huge queue, mostly people buying Fifa 18 though. Apparently they've got exactly the right amount of stock to fulfil preorders and not a single unit more but expecting another delivery at some point between now and christmas.

Got mine and tried it,

Jesus the games are way harder than I remember and the gfx are a touch more pixilated/blocky due to the large TV etc.

I pre-ordered from Smyths in June for £79. Got the confirmation email then but as of this moment have heard nothing else.... :(

I received a ready to collect email from Smyths this morning. Unfortunately someone has cocked up the formatting as it’s a garbled mess of unreadable HTML. Double unfortunately, there’s a bar code in it somewhere that needs to be scanned when I go into pick the SNES up.

Happily, my order from Nintendo arrived today. I’m just waiting for the mini me to get back from school so we can open it up together!

Nintendo really are masters at creating artificial demand for a product. £130+ for one of these to anyone who didn't get a pre-order in.

I ordered two to be on the safe side, one from Very and one from Argos, both despatched via royal mail but still not recieved? i am now getting worried and dont know who to contact??

My Game pre-order arrived via DPD about two hours ago. Haven't had a chance to play as I'm still at work, but the controllers feel like a PERFECT replication of the original. Build quality is very good across the board. The thing's also a lot smaller than I expected!

that isn't just a perception issue btw... but you're right to think that they're a bit harder as they are! :) - the games should now be running at proper speed whereas if you had an old UK console they were slowed down relative to US and Japanese versions because of the differences between PAL and NTSC televisions

They don't scan barcode at all - I just gave them my name, they handed me a mini snes and sent me on my way :)

I've got the same issue, could you not collect it with the order no?

Mines been sat at the Yodel depot for 2 days. Better be delivered tomorrow!
They've got them on the shelf in my local Asda quite surprisingly so worth checking if anyone is still after one.

It's a shame they didn't include Mario All Stars, though I suppose that would have stepped on the NESCM's toes. Looks like the internals are very similar to NESCM so there may still be hope!
