When I was scrambling for a switch, there were one or two argos outlets that had a few in stock, more than once I believe, even after i managed to get mine so I'd give that a go.

ah that could work thanks, there is an Argos on my nearest high street too. I guess as Tesco opens earlier I could try them first then target Argos/Game.

I used the stock checker to check regularly. I went to game to get one and was told I had to pay a deposit down for the next shipment, checked argos and 2 stores had them in, so it's always a good bet. The supermarket outlet seemed to be my best bet.

Mine is via Nintendo and the order page shows that it will be dispatched Friday...ah well.
 
I've taken the day off work to go and pick up my reservation from GAME. A couple of my mates are also off so we'll grab some breakfast whilst in town then set up on the couch with a few beers for some retro gaming :D

Confirmation email from Toys R Us...sweet! Wasn't expecting them to deliver, while my friend ordered at the sametime as me and his has been delayed by 3 weeks.
