SNES Mini Classic

I'm looking into this, seems legit.

I'm once again though, quite annoyed that Nintendo didn't add a Wi-Fi chip and an online store to buy more games, or atleast additional cartridges/memory cards to have game packs added at a later date.

TMNT in 2 player mode will be awesome!

Then that would have left the Nintendo Switch getting virtual console pointless.

I'll deffos be doing this today, even if it's just one game.

Super Mario All Stars was a defining game for me as a child, I want it! :P

Just been playing with this and it works a treat; however I suspect discussion on use may very well fall foul of the forum rules.

It's fine as long as we're not talking about where to get ROM's.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time works fine it's one of the games i installed.

Mine woulsn't do it this morning. Can't write to USB. I wonder if its because:

a: windows 10
b: my mobo has no usb2 ports

I don't think it would have. It would just be another source of revenue for them. I would bet people would buy more games on the snes mini as they would have a more authentic experience.

I've pretty much not bought any snes/nes games from their virtual console, but if it was on the mini I wouldn't hesitate to buy my fave titles.

...to hone important life skills such as getting fastest lap on Super Mario Kart Ghost Valley 1... We felt like driving gods. :o

:D

I've started a time trial challenge thread just for people like us, please do post your times, others please also join in! :)

I didn't manage to get one of these although a guy I know who bought 2 was wanting to swap my boxed original NTSC US SNES console for one of them. Yeah right, on ya bike son. As if anyone would do this, not just because you can't beat the original, but because the US console looks so much better than the Super Famicom/European bag of bread.

You think? The US design looks very cheap and tacky IMHO. But yeah, that fella was taking the pee.

Yeah, always preferred the US design and the controller button colours. The console has that industrial robust look. The Jap/Euro design is almost toy-like in appearance. The US console looks bad if it's yellowed, although I think the same applies to the Jap/Euro console also.
