Well after playing and completing the first one I was really looking forward to this and more importantly fixing the problems with the first one.
Load the game up...nice menu...set all settings to maximum...new game...it's in third person...WHAT? Good start.

(I hope there is a way to change it back, I didn't see it).
Graphics look...terrible in all honesty, jaggy and washed out from the non-scoped view, they improve slightly when you are looking through the scope or binos.
There are loads of ruins and loads of doors to buildings...except you can't move through most ruins and the doors are just textures.
As others have said there is absolutely no free reign, you are just walking through one wide corridor made to look outside, there is no option for sneaking, no alternate routes...the weapons don't have a great feel to them though the overall sound is good.
I played it through on normal difficulty and again on maximum difficulty with all help options off...to be honest I didn't notice a lot of difference.
The sniping mechanic does feel nice (has sniping ever not?) but it's just not quite there...it's average at best...I may be interested on budget but certainly not at full price.
The fact that this was their specially made demo level to show the game off just makes me more disappointed...such a shame.
If there's an upside, I didn't have any performance issues on an i7 920, Gigabyte EX58-UD5, 18GB, GT 570.
