So, anyone got an iRobot Roomba or other robot vacuum cleaner?

So for the last two cleans I have had the Roborock Q Revo on Balanced vacuum strength and it is so quiet and really does the job. I know the mop is working well because not only does the floor look and feel fresh but the dirty water tank stinks LOL... it really does do a great job of cleaning the daily grime caused by human skin, hair and sweat. My goal is to get it so that it does three full cleans without needing more water added to the clean water tank so I will experiment until that happens.

I always knew I wanted a true mopping robot but I never knew how amazing it would be until it was in my apartment doing its thing. :D

I don't live in the UK but for my non-EU country I pay import fees directly at Amazon checkout and nothing else comes to me. Maybe the UK is different but I am surprised if so.

Reviews suggest you cannot go wrong with either of them in terms of quality and functionality, with the Dreame having better obstacle avoidance due to the RGB camera. However for me the biggest differentiator is that the water tanks capacity on the Q Revo base station are twice as large as the Dreame 10s which adds a larger degree of hands-off convenience. Roborock likely has easier to find spare parts and accessories due to how popular the brand is.

If I were you I would ultimately go for whichever is cheapest and easiest to get.

I'm getting pretty tired of my robot vacuums (Neato + Roomba). Recently I prefer to whizz round with the handheld Dyson. Less stressful than dealing with slow, loud, fault-prone robots. This is a good thing for me, as it shows I've got my dust mite allergy under control.

My main observations from 3 robots over 7 years is how little technological progress has been made. At the start I knew I was paying a high price for an early product, but all my robots have been basically equal in their cleaning ability. They still get stuck frequently, fail to detect stairs, are loud, take ages to clean, fail to return home, fail to initiate charge.
 
amazon.de wont send me one. I've been trying to buy one for weeks.

I've actually got a support ticket open with them. Any advice on getting one, i'm all ears..
