I got rid of my D7 because it was just woeful, they've fallen from grace recently and their NPD lacks severely versus the competition. Having a D shape bot is useless if the software doesn't tell it to approach perpendicular to corners.
I could not see the info on the S7 ( found only s7max), but the Q7 Max seems really good. It's got a really good battery and suction is really good as well. The app looks like it does a 3d of the room which is quite interesting. It is priced at 585£ so not first price band but seems worse it.I’ve been looking at the roborock Q7 max. We will still hoover properly once a week so want something that will deal with dirt from children. All the floors are tile/wood so hopefully should suit the cleaners well. Is there a significant upgrade to the S7 range? We really want a docking station as a big part of it is the ease of use.
Great thank you. It is on offer on Amazon for 359 with base station, so seems a good deal.I could not see the info on the S7 ( found only s7max), but the Q7 Max seems really good. Oh yeah 359 is definitely a good deal. Especially for a first time. Mine costed 329 and does not have all this specs, definitely worse it at this priceGreat thank you. It is on offer on Amazon for 359 with base station, so seems a good deal.
The q Revo looks really good for mopping indeed with the two circular brush. I took a robot mainly for hoover, I didn't want any mopping function to be honest but nowadays they all have it. I've tried it briefly on mine, it does an ok job but I prefer to pass the mop myself.Still loving my Roborock Q Revo and I will never again have another robot without a full mopping and mop cleaning function. It's amazing how much effort it saves!
A Q Revo does a much better job than a hoover with "passive mop" function. The spinner mops really do a fantastic job and when you run it 3x times a week your floor will be gleaming. My quest for a q revo into the uk is so far unsuccessful. The Sotel route seems a little bit expensive, £700/£750 is my upper limit.
Please provide links so that people know exactly what you are referring to.I seen that Dyson have brought out a robot. Looks amazing on the YouTube videos.

I know I am likely wasting my e-breath here, but they have multiple robot models and all you said was "they have brought out a robot" which could have been referring to any of the models you had seen. But sure... "thanks" for the link. What people on a PC orientated forum can’t google it?
Unfortunately I own one and they're useless. The soft brush is good on hard floor, useless on carpet even when forcing max suction mode. I don't even have deep pile carpets either, more medium.

As for the robot, it looks like typical Dyson overpriced crap. £1200 with no cleaning station or mopping function? What a joke.
Same budget, what would everyone go for instead if the dyson is crap?
