So, Anyone Got Their Christmas Tree(s) Up Yet?

I've managed to avoid seeing Halloween trees as well. Are there Easter trees? Summer Solstice trees?

I might put the lights up outside the house earlier this year. It's nice coming home to the glow.

Won’t be until at least 8th December, daughters birthday is on the first weekend of December, with a small party the Saturday after at the house.

An absolute win there, will always have justification to not put it up earlier than the correct time for it (2nd week of December!!)

No, but got some lights outside ready to be switched on at some point. Going low key this year, can’t be faffed with it all.

Our tree goes up on the 1st of December and comes down on the 25th of December in the evening.

I live in a bungalow so a month (well 25 days) of the tree being up its good to get it put away and reclaim what little space I have left in the front room

Working this Christmas, so not even having a Christmas dinner. Can't be bothered with decorations and all the associated mither that goes with it.

EDIT: Moved into my new place in July, don't think I brought any of the Christmas crap with me. And now I'm single I don't think I can be arsed to buy any new stuff.

Our tree goes up around the 1st or the Sunday closest to the 1st.

We normally take them down either on the 1st or 2nd January.

We live in a mid-terrace house with no front garden, but I really want to put some lights out the front this year. The Mrs said no, and asked where am I going to put them.

I've connected up some of the external house lights already but my excuses is that it's North Sweden and since the clocks went back it's stupidly dark.

Winter here is awesome and completely **** at the same time :p

you take the tree down on xmas day night? I've never heard of that before, fair play. I'd at least wait till the morning of boxing day.

I do, well the other half does as I am too buy building Lego which we have got my son for Christmas lol

As mentioned, its only done because of the lack of space we have in the front room and by this point we are more than happy to pack it up.

We also have 4 cats so god knows how its going to survive this year
