I'm sceptical, sounds like she's trying to trap you. She's on contraceptive injections but got knocked up. Pffft. You split up two months ago and she's only just confirmed it. Double pffft.

Take it with a bucket or two of salt mate.

1. Trip to hospital/Doctors to confirm pregnancy

2. Another trip to Hospital for a paternity test if she is pregnant.

May sound harsh but a mate got royally screwed up by a girl he had a one night stand with, she turned up a month later saying she was pregnant (which she was). He paid out a fortune for the next few years until a friend of hers told him the kid wasnt his, the best bit was the mother new this all along, but my mate was very well off in a high paid job and she saw him as a meal ticket :mad:

Unfortunately I have no idea she's been very odd about me going to appointments with her and to be honest I'm growing convinced that it's all made up. Surely she'd want me there if she was pregnant? I can't really see any reason for her to avoid me going or simply blanking me when I ask to.

Ho hum, we'll find out soon I hope! She just seems to be hanging this over my head for as long as possible!

Chances are she isn't pregnant at all. Ask her to do the test in front of you (with you present I mean).

If push comes to shove expect a call from her saying she has "lost" the baby.

An ex of mine even had a bag packed on the floor to make it look like she had returned from the hospital after the miscarriage.

I had already called the hospital to confirm she had never been in.

Was an interesting conversation when I confronted her with that.

This is the "classic" card played by some women when they can't cope with an ex moving on. Many men will come up against it over the years. I reckon about 90% chance you are in the clear.
