I've just finished putting together my build but when I plug in the PSU I'm only getting power to the RGB lights on the Motherboard. No power to anywhere else as far as I can see.

Some context, this is my first build. I had some issues with the CPU and the AIO but I've checked the pins and they all seem to be fine. I've plugged in the Power SW, Reset SW and the H.D.D LED wires and I'm sure they're all in the right spots. I don't know enought about these systems to say whether I've been sent a duff component somewhere and I wouldn't even know how to find it if I had.

This is how it is currently and any help will be appreciated. I've taken it apart twice I think and put it back together but I'm not getting anywhere.

Unplug all cables from the back of the computer. Open the computer and reseat memory, graphics card. After all components are reseated, make sure all cables are firmly connected by disconnecting and reconnecting them.
 
Mite seem a silly question but have you plugged the 24 pin connector to the motherboard ? As you only mentioned 8 pin

List your system spec please.
 
I’ve spent a lot of time today in PMs helping OP today build it. Have tried suggesting the usual things on the case connectors and power etc. As was sure it was just that or something simple.

Probably a good idea he made this new thread for suggestions from everyone else to troubleshoot. Not really sure what else to suggest the poor lad! :o

Bizarre as power is working to a degree as his mobo LED is working. But doesn’t seem he can get a boot/post.

His system specs are below AFAIK don’t think it was changed from this... It’s a beefy rig.

mmmm...dead CPU??? I hope not. I would take out the CPU and check the pins underneath? Check the mobo underneath where the cpu sits too.

Should be 4 very small leds
Usually along the upper right hand side of
The motherboard
Cpu, gpu, ram and boot device
If rgb lights up normally those 4 diagnostic lights should work too
They light as each stage is tested and
Should stop with 1 led lit to show what
The issue is
