So close yet so far

Honestly no clue, everything is plugged in and to the best of my knowledge it's correct but I'm getting no joy. I'm going to call them tomorrow and see what we can do

Can you test the psu by doing the paperclip test with a fan connected.

Just to clarify you have swapped the motherboard and psu.

Any power led lights on the motherboard.

@Journey I live in London so probably a bit far I think, thank you though

Booo, sorry.

Did you build it outside of the case as suggested, it is so easy to have a case short that causes the machine not to boot at all, especially if it is your first build. If you just have the board/CPU/RAM and literally nothing else connected, other than the PSU all out side of the case (and the boxed cooler), no hard drives, no keyboards, no graphics cards etc. literally nothing else Just turn it on with the screw driver method (which I see you are familiar with) and then watch to see what the diagnostic LED's do near the CPU 24-pin power connector, obviously you'll get no display in the monitor but that isn't what we are looking for, we are going back to basics here. :)

Paperclip test jump starts your psu without being plugged into any components except may be fan to see it runs.

As suggested by journey build outside the case.

Yarp, have tried starting it with barely anything plugged in while it was outside the case and got nothing.
Also it's a brand new power supply after I sent the original back, they just sent a new one for me so I thought that it was faulty

@Lyndonovich

Can you try the stock CPU cooler?

Thinking that when you returned the mobo, they would have used this cooler and not a fancy one.

Not even sure wiring a RGB cooler wrong will cause this much problem, but worth a shot.

I had exact same problem with my build last month exactly same issues turned out to be a faultly PSU was a brand new EVGA one.

@Lyndonovich what a ball ache, very odd..

If you're happy with the components themselves btw, OcUK can build your basket for you? They usually just charge a ~£100 odd build fee on top. If you ask on the phone or in Customer Service subforum? Or ask at same time you talk about returning the lot... See what they can do?
