I grabbed one of these, really pleased with it, and mine came with a DVI cable in the box

These don't come with a DVI cable, i don't know anyone who has received one with this monitor including myself and also this is taken from the tech specs page:

Only the more expensive monitors come with one such as the G2410 and it would mention it as follows

Worth getting one of these for my Macbook do you reckon? I've never seen snow leopard in full HD...yet.

Edit: ordered that bad boy anyway...too good to miss.

I would like to ask you all that bought from dell site a quick question. How long did it take from submitting the order for the tft till your card was charged, i.e they had sent it off for delivery. As i have 130 atm with a refund from a etailer due any day, probs mon, for 33 which will make up to 155 odd ish for the monitor. I was thinking should i wait and buy when i have the full amount in the bank or order now since they charge you when it is delivered so lets say it takes a few days to send it off in that time, mon i hope, the full money for it should all be in the bank by the time the send it off.

What you reckon i should do, order now and hope they dont send it off asap but more like they will send it starting monday or tuesday so it gives the refund time to get in the bank or just wait till i have the money in full then order it.

I take it the offer is till 27th but im eager for it lol and worried the offer might close early due to ran out of stock on the item cos of the amazing deal.

Normally your card is charged as the order is processed, this has been my experience with any/all online retailers.

Not worth the risk IMO unless you have a flexible overdraft, could see the order either being refused or even worse, charges from your bank.

They authorise the funds there and then, but the funds actually cleared a few days later for me, I think about a day or two after the monitor arrived (which only took about 3 days from ordering anyway)

I ordered one of these for a friend, to be honest its not bad for the price.

Only thing that bothers me is the slightly blue whites or maybe i just got a dud one. No pixels missing at all but dell say its 6 or more before they replace it. You could alway just return it within 7 days but they do charge a £20 pick up fee apparently.

Its only the cost of delivery to them, you can arrange your own courier to get it to them which can make it a little cheaper. They cant charge you for re-stocking within the 7 days cooling off period.

Well now you know two people who have got one with the monitor.

Weird you speak with authority on the matter yet I've got the DVI cable sitting next to me ? ;)

Hope i didn't cause any offence i just didn't want people to be misleaded into expecting a DVI cable and then not receive one, such as Jynmagic.

I've just purchased the monitor, and what ****es me off is the fact that no DVI cable is included . I only realised this after I bought it. Still a good deal though :).

Great that you and Robert got one though, i could have used a spare one to hook up a second 19" that is now connected through VGA instead.

Looking to get a new screen for my 360. Currently using a cheap Goodmans 19" LCD TV, so I think it's about time I went bigger and better quality.

Anyone used this for the 360? I'd need to use VGA since my 360 doesn't have an HDMI port, would this be okay and provide a good picture? Only used component, so would it be better? Sorry for all the questions, never used a computer monitor for the 360!

Also, is this better than the Benq 24" monitor on offer here (up in the top right corner)?
