So did anyone buy the Dell 24in ST2410?

Trana, to answer:

When connected via DVI the default is off for dynamic contrast and yes there is an option to turn it off when connected by VGA - not sure about HDMI as not tested.

No buzz for me at brightness levels from 70% to 100% - only range I've used to this post. I can test for you tonight when I get home if you want.

electrotek, my order/paking slip said the same thing - no DVI cable though, some have got one though.

I'll try and put some pics up for you, having said that others have posted pictures so can't really see the point of more of the same.

Cheers,
Tom

Ok guys I'm a bit lost here. How the hell do I register my warranty? My monitor didn't come with any sort of warranty slip/recipt and the dell site is confusing. Any help?

Are we allowed to mention competitors? Where is everyone getting this from? Dell? The company has like a 1 star rating but it's the cheapest I can find.

Competitors can not be mentioned on these forums, but cough, cough cough... as I've said in a previous post - these who want to buy it make sure you pay a price that your happy with for it, OC are competitive with other independant online shops. Which is all you can asked for and they have top customer service :)

Just ordered one for £2 delivered. Just annoying that you get a VGA cable with it but no DVI - how many graphics cards even come with a plain VGA port on these days?

Only 32 reviews have been submitted for that site, not a good representation is it?.

Update - you can't register literally all monitors. See:

http://en.community.dell.com/forums/t/19302385.aspx

In short, your warranty is tied to your order number.

Thanks for that.

Well im guessing its probably that there bit more expensive there than other places. Seems ppl here bought it at dell and are happy enough so probs nowt to worry about.

Received here. Rev A00, made in Czech Republic, came with VGA cable.

Seems to be a little bit of backlight bleed on the lower edge. Otherwise fine.

Exactly the same here :) (although I'm not too sure about the backlight bleed, I'll double check). What I find odd is that Dell hasn't teken any money out of my account (it's been almost a week). Also nothing is showing up in "pending transactions". It almost seems like dell has forgotten to take my payment :D, but of course, that's too good to be true.

Mine said that without any change. Your get a phone call (if you gave them your number) with the date. It took two working days for them to process mine, so you may not have to wait much longer and worth the wait.

My Mrs is now wanting one too, may have to get in before the 27th :)

Dell have taken the money according to my hsbc banking. Tho shows i have the money there when you click available balancer it shows i have far less i.e minus the payment of the tft.

Maybe they have requested it but not completed the transaction. Plus, can any of us really trust the Banks any more? ROFL

Received mine today, I must admit that for only 160 notes it's pretty good. Took a bit of fiddling around to get the colours right for me - no dead pixels though. Yay!!
