wow u could buy 2 2nd hand 8800GT for SLi for about £160~ and it beats the 4850CF in a lot of benchies, loses in a few but still it should be worth a consideration.

You know....
When I first read that nvidia are releasing the 9800+ in respone to ATI's first break in years, I literally felt physically sick.
Gigabyte mobos are far from rubbish especially the P45 and P35 variety
You've used a gigabyte p45 then I take it.
Citylink delivered something first time without carding? What is the world coming tooLol, so glad i purchased a new 4850 I'm running an x1600xt, in cod4 with everything set to low i get about 20-30 avg fps!!! I don't think i will have ever been so happy to see a citylink van come to my house

i've got a Gigabyte P35 board that works FLAWLESSLY
you mean it arrived today?
4850's in crossfire just rock for the performance you get for the outlay.
Remember if you're prepared to plump for second hand, GX2's can be picked up fairly cheap now. I got one the other day for 235. Cheapest pair of 4850s is around £280 on here, also GX2 has a good lead over the 4850s.
I only did this though as I didn't want a change of motherboard for the 4850's in Crossfire.
I have a P5B Deluxe which doesn't like crossfire.
Fixed.
