Its a supermarket (I also work for Tesco).
A fair few staff have visible neck tattoos and those ear tunnel things that look like their ears have been put into a hole puncher and they don't get sent home.

I would just go in whatever you feel like

We had a guy with a huge hold in his ear, a nose piercing and green hair. He looked bloody pathetic.
