Exactly. The last thing i need is people giving me their views on the situation and how i need to grow some balls etc. I cant go through paypal and have no evidence to prove anything.

So all i can do is wait till Thursday and give an update then cant i?

Not sure if this has been said already but when you signed for the original delivery the shipment weight will be recorded in the records of the courier. If the weight of the return shipment matches up then surely you have a case to go to court with to receive a full refund?

GOOD THINKING, Again build up your evidence dude, Things like these WILL matter when it does go through the court.

Already tried, and as i posted the max weight states 1000kg for the pallet meaning there was no specific weight giving by the seller. So there is no evidence there.

What i can do is wait until Thursday and if no cheque, phone him but record the convo and he will then obviously admit to the refund without recollection of being recorded. Then i will go see my solicitor. But you never know the refund may turn up.

Just to let you know, with ebay if the loss is over £500 the police will deal with it. At least that's the case for my force, probably true of most others.

Well all i can do is wait. Thursday is my only day off so if it doesnt arrive ill pop down and see my solicitor to seek advice.

Id have been on his case after a week had gone by. The world is full of "del boys" like this. The old "sorry cant do it as my business partner is away" routine is so old im sure the egyptians used it when they did business!

You need to grow a pair and take your business seriously, if you dont then you will end up being everyone's mug.

I am self employed and because of that i have to be extra careful how i get paid.. and more to the point be careful that i actually GET paid at all. Ive seen it all from small business... lost cheque book, accountant away, cant do the payment till next week as its an audit blah blah blah... I give them 7 days then send my standard { pay up or else } letter and if i get no joy after another 3 days im down to the door and making myself known. It works wonders when they know you are NOT a mug and you WONT go away.

Sorry for being harsh but 70 days? are you for real? :eek:

True, It's been 70+ days now, So i would start to do something just incase it doesent. But i hope it does, Good luck bro.

Its pretty much all been said and im thankful for everyones help and criticism. All i can do now is wait till Thursday. No matter what people say from now until Thursday will matter because i have spoken with Phil from the Vintage Wholesale Company. If i dont get a cheque or refund on Thursday, I will go to my solicitors, seek out advice on what to do next and if i have a case i will give Phil a call ask him about the refund but record the call. Wait for him to mention "i forgot to send the refund" or "its being actioned today", and i will either say well ive had enough now Phil and its gone on long enough and tell him i have been to my solicitor and he should be receiving a letter from them soon or not mention the solicitor and end all communication.

Mate, im a nice guy but can turn very nasty if im treated like dog.... in this instance i am fuming. However what the hell would i achieve in this crappy country with a bat?

I would be arrested just for looking at someone with a bat these days... and he would get away scot-free.

Like i said in an earlier post, my business partner wants to go down and pour paint thinner all over his car and then smash him in. But... as much as i would love to do that to the scummy **** i cant... because it wouldnt be worth £1200. What would i achieve? A criminal record, a fine and £1550 of debt.
