FFS READ.... he has actually been away...

fair doos hes taken a while... it took me 20 days to receive the jeans... hes obviously a very laid back guy.

If he wanted to refund you it takes about 30 seconds on Paypal to do so, he doesn't need his business partner's signiture or anything.

Sorry I presumed that since the guy said he hadn't received the jeans that you hadn't got a tracking number for the items and so they wouldn't be signed for. Are you saying the guy DID sign for them and you had it tracked?

He arranged collection of jeans. I had no way of weighing these jeans and when the courier came they took them and delivered them. However there were also 3 bags of jeans that were forgotten to be sent back so i personally arrange each of these bags to be sent back (note: these were never open when received and had the same amount of jeans that were sent out in them). They all weighed 28kg's and this was noted on the courier order.

However his collection courier service was noted as a max weight of 1000kg and never had a specific weight when they arrived or were sent out.

He said he has proof they weighed more when they were send out to what they were when he got them back.

I have no way of prooving this so he had me over a barrel with that... thats why i just took it as it was and called it a financial loss in which you learn from your mistakes.

Well ask him to show you the proof. I'm afraid I agree with all the people telling you it's time to stop taking anything this bloke says at face value. He sounds like one of these people who goes through life trying every trick to get something he hasn't worked for, making life a misery for everyone who comes into contact with him. Get down to your solicitor, get your free 30 minutes of time and get the FULL amount back that you paid him. Stop mucking about and don't wait any longer.

SENT OUT
1 bail 345kg - 495 pairs
3 bags 28kg each - 120 pairs (40 in each bag)

615 pair in total

RECIEVED BACK (all open out of original packing)
1 pallet 345kg - 402 (one week ago)
1 bag 22kg - 31 pairs (sent back one week later)
1 bag 31kg - 30 pairs (sent back one week later)
1 bag 37kg - 37 pairs (sent back one week later)

Still 115 pairs short!!

Havent got time to read through all of it but;

Sent out 429kg Recieved back 435kg No? So

Exactly, hes thick as two planks and thats the best bit of evidence i have. This is the first time he has told me he has sent the refund guys so ill just wait till tomorrow. I cant do anything until next Thursday anyway... but i suppose i could go in my lunch break Monday and see my solicitor. If i go through a solicitor i will attempt for the full refund and compo for stress and time taken to resolve matters.

I think what will help me is that fact he could have sent the refund through paypal like a lot of you say... however... he never and waited until after 60 days.

Pots and kettles to be honest. Not going through paypal was only your first mistake, but you have let this go on too long to start trying to get stroppy with posters on here now.

And why can't you do anything until next Thursday? you are going to leave this another week?? omg!!!

No, I mean don't wait till tomorrow to see if the cheque has arrived. Stop thinking that it might arrive tomorrow and assume that it won't. Try and see a solicitor today or tomorrow.

Otherwise it'll then be 'next Thursday' and the bloke will have "sent a new cheque by recorded delivery" so you'll put it off for another week and then he will promise to "come round and see you to personally deliver the cheque" but his car will "break down" and then he'll have to "go on holiday".

at the end of the day as much as you think that would be the case. It isnt.

Also to the above post. Im not getting stroppy with posters... and im getting annoyed the fact they are saying the same thing...

Tomorrow i am working, and today i am. As i have said previosuly i only have Thursdays & Sundays off.

Have you noticed a theme? Everybody on here says the same thing, yet you are not listening? Why start this thread? for everybody to go 'aww what a shame' and thats it??

Wont your work give you an hour off? God, have a doctors appointment or have to take your dog to the vets, serious bout of toothache anything, make an excuse, this isn't rocket science.
I can't believe you even paid HIM to pick up the good. I would have arranged for the person picking it up to have the cheque with him tbh. Did you even pay him money extra for the courier and not arrange to take it out your refund?

Face it - the guy has not posted the cheque. If he had, it'd be here by now. Also his prior behaviour suggests he is taking your for a complete ride.
