So, the Championship season has started **Spoilers**

Yet another depressing performance from us today, and no hint of any players coming in. What a shambles. Imo, we have lost the first two games to 2 of the worst 4-5 teams in the division.

The Liverpool kid(Joao Carlos Texeira) was absolute class though. Felt sorry for him in a way as nobody else was on his level.

Make no mistake. Brighton could be in trouble this year if we don't get our promised signings

It's weird isn't it, after looking a proper force a couple of years ago. Is Bloom scaling back the amount of cash he's willing to burn, or is it something else - FFP? We had Texeira on loan last season in L1, but unfortunately he didn't really get a game - joined a winning side which we weren't chopping and changing, so went back to Liverpool after a couple of weeks.

We had a disappointing game on Saturday. Firstly a mess up with the tickets meant that I found out I didn't have one... with the game selling out 24 hours beforehand! Then managed to track one down, got stuck in heavy traffic getting down to Bournemouth and we undeservedly lost! Very frustrating all in all, but hopefully we can get our first win tomorrow.

It is 100% FFP. We seem to be the only ones taking it seriously, and we are suffering for it:(...It is all very well planning for the future and basically writing the season off as 'transitional' whilst we tighten up financially and make sure we adhere to FFP, but 25,000 season ticket holders aren't going to accept the really poor football we are playing now, and were playing last season. It is a very risky game to hope for mid-table safety in this division.

It is very frustrating seeing Bloom etc bang on about FFP all the time when other teams are seriously strengthening their squads all around us, whilst we are getting weaker. 2 years ago when Gus got us to the playoffs we were by far the best team in the league for the second part of the season. That was our chance, and we blew it, big time!

Bloom has said that his top priority is making the club self-sufficient in the long-term.

Very frustrating. We also seem to be one of a few teams who are abiding by FFP, but splashing out on the new Spanish kid whilst refusing to sell Forshaw to Wigan may unsettle the books.

Whilst it's great aiming to establish the club as self-sufficient, it's so bloody difficult that it's almost too idealistic. Without the TV money from the Premiership, there are hardly any Football League sides who can manage it -I know Dagenham & Redbridge regularly turn a profit, with Walsall and Torquay doing so recently too, but that's almost it!

I can't see a Championship team being self-sufficient, or turning a profit, and staying the slightest bit competitive within the league.

Also, the FFP is far too black and white, and discriminates against teams like Brentford. Evans bought Ipswich, and in the process of turning them into a Premier League side has burdened them with £80m of debt to him. This is certainly a bad thing and definitely shouldn't be allowed. Our owner is converting his investment into equity, meaning that we don't owe him anything, nor are we going into debt, he simply writes the losses off at the end of each financial year. If he's happy to do so, we should be able to spend whatever we want, with his mentality being that when setting up any form of large commercial enterprise it's not unusual to suffer large losses to begin with. Grrrr.

I'm really happy with the way things are going. I thought it was going to be Xmas before we saw things starting to blossom at Leeds, but we already look more of a team than we did under Colin.

I'm willing to give Cellino and Wackaday time, they are making all the right noises. The piece of business to move out McCormack in bring in Billy Sharp was fantabulous. McCormack is great at this level, but no better than Billy. McCormack is also reliant on his pace but Billy seems to read the game better. Very, very similar scoring ratios. We still have Byram, we've got some players happy to have the ball anywhere on the pitch, we've got some exciting young prospects and have moved out the older players like Brown and Kenny with some real exciting players coming in from Italy. This Adryan looks the real deal.

McCormack for up to £11m or paying out the £600,000 left on Billy Sharp's contract. Fulham got done :D

Charlton are doing well.

I expected them to struggle this season, what with the new manager, selling Poyet and signing relatively unheard of players, but they are having an absolute flyer!

3 games in and no team has got a 100% record, must be some sort of record!

Happy enough with Forest's start, Pearce did well against Bournemouth to change things around at half time after being battered for 45 minutes and Assombolonga looks the real deal so far apparently and from the little I've seen in highlights.

I can't wait til Saturday, living in Newcastle I don't get to the City Ground much these days but I'll be there this weekend.

Was £5.5m up front for McCormack - but either way, he better start scoring soon! Magath ruined us last night, the two previous games, although losses - were positive. Great passing, movement just no end product. Yesterday was a complete change, crap formation, slow, no passing, dropping our best performers for no apparent reason. Fotheringam should just never play again.

We need a few more signings especially as it still seems Ruiz, Mitroglou and potentially Burn, Kacaniklic are off :(

3-4 really good signings in the last few weeks and Sami has really got a nice squad together now. Gary Gardner just come in on a 4-month deal, probably to cover a few longish-term injuries we have. Joe Bennet, also form Villa looked excellent on his debut. Danny Holla looks a real find. Very good player. The main one is Joao Carlos Teixeira on loan from Liverpool. Really top class player who will score and create for fun in this league!

We still need a good striker though. We got Adrian Colunga yesterday, but he is unproven. CMS was brilliant the other day, but is too hit&miss unfortunately.

It is so refreshing to see proper attacking football finally, after the dross that Oscar Garcia served up last season!

Good result for us today and a new stadium to cross off the list. Rotherham were poor and most sides should be looking to take three points from them.

We've had a quite easy start so far, but with BHA and Norwich at home up next we'll soon see how well we could do in this division. Tough games and bizarrely it's our away form which is doing well, at home we look nervy. Highest league position tonight since early September 1952!

Should be a good game next week. I'm still trying to sort out whether I will make it or not, but hopefully I will. We are looking quite good atm now that Sami has his system going. 69 shots in the last 4 games now. We are close to giving someone a hiding, and hopefully Sam Baldock will provide a bit more cutting-edge.

2-2 with Charlton today. So much possession, so many shots, lucky to draw in the end!...Lewis Dunk is finally proving how good he is, and will surely flourish under Hyypia, a great CB! Not long before he gets snapped up by a big team.

Wolves fan here.

Great result for us yesterday against Blackburn. Really pleased with the way we are playing at the moment. I certainly don't expect anything better than mid-table this year, but there are so many reasons to be happy as a wolves fan at the moment.

Charlton have had a decent start, but 69 shots in 4 games! Hopefully it won't be us that takes the hiding!

Wolves have had a great start and seem to be playing very decent football. You've beaten each of the relegated sides now, and can see you having a very strong season.

Another win playing averagely for Forest, i thought Wednesday did enough to perhaps draw, and should have been 1 up in the first minute or so.

Still, grinding out results while we get players back to fitness and with Watford the closest challengers going all weird perhaps we can open a gap before the inevitable wobble.

After being very hopeful at the start and some decent results there have been a fair few disappointing games also, I'm still positive, Karanka is still doing the business to bring in new players... Fingers crossed things start going back in the right direction.

Karanka's bringing in some smashing signings, but we've had some poor results.
We've just signed Wildschut and we're getting Vossen by the looks of it.

We have a proper promotion capable team.

Hopefully Karanka goes back to basics and also drops Mejas.

But we should get top 6 at least with the team we have.

Here's hoping, Karanka does seem to be making all the right moves, I just hope it all falls into place :)

... That said Mejias has been pretty damn terrible but he seems keen on sticking with him, hopefully he knows what he's doing there :p

The championship is so competitive that no team can say that anymore, except the relegated ones really. There are 12-15 teams that could easily finish in the top 6!

That's true, but we can be hopeful at the very least :p :D

I thought Boro would be promotion candidates but not sure now, Karanka seems to opt for weird tactics/teams. Reading and Sheff Wed at home you should just not be losing to. Also Seb Hines shouldn't get near the first team.

Thing is, boro don't need to play hines, we have solid options.
We've made two big signings today, hopefully during the international break he sorts it out and sorts out a proper starting 11.

I believes hines has gone, and steele is going to go.
He needs to sort mejas out though he's terrible.

Once he's sorted it out, the team on paper should be promotion candidates.
I think Norwich will get auto promotion too.
