So, the Championship season has started **Spoilers**

Heading up to Forest away at the weekend. Looking forward to it!

We usually do well against them, and despite a pretty average start to the season, we have actually played quite well, though on the negative side, I don;t think we have played a top-eight side yet which is worrying.

Good luck - they're doing well at the moment, so it would be nice for someone to pick up points against them.

Leeds at home tomorrow. Difficult game as they're on a run, and also will be trying to impress the new manager. Also, we have vrey little idea as to how they're going to set up! I'd take a point, but we need a reaction after 3-0 and 4-0 defeats.

Time might be up for Sami on Saturday. Tactically he is absolutely clueless. The system we are playing is so obviously never going to work. Our top scorer by a mile is a cb! Our 3 strikers have 1 goal between them so far.

I'd be happy to give him time if we at least show improvement on Saturday, but if we don't beat Rotherham it will be 10 without a win.

Two 0-0 games in a row for us. Think I might cry if I go up to Bolton on Saturday and we fire blanks again. Clean sheets always a plus though. Wednesday were a physical and strong side, not dirty though, but it was weird how even they seemed surprised that they produced their best football when they stopped playing long ball. They hit the post, we had a shot cleared off the line. We started incredibly, finished stronger of the two sides, but Wednesday threatened a great deal towards the end of the first half and overall it was pretty even for both sides.

Got result for Leeds that, Norwich are a decent side.

I can't believe we lost to you :( Probably your last win??

.

Nah, we won the next 2 after that too. We were playing really well. Unfortunately though the system we play is amazingly predictable and easy to counter.

It isn't all bad though tbh, as we have played fairly well recently, we just don't have a decent striker. Ad much as I like him, the time has come to say that CMS simply isn't good enough, Sam Baldock has only just arrived but doesn't look great and Chris o'grady is so bad it is amazing he makes a living out of football. We make so many chances in games any half decent striker would clean up. How much do you reckon Ulloa would cost to bring back? :p

I am not sure I have ever seen a manager as tactically clueless as Sami Hyypia...and strangely considering how he was as a player, he shows no leadership whatsoever. His post-match interview today was the most uninspiring thing you could imagine. The formation we play is so obviously bad at the core, but he refuses to change it, which is apparently why he was sacked from Leverkusen as well.

We aren't a sacking club, so it is quite likely he will stay, but I have no confidence in him whatsoever. We were outplayed in every area by Rotherham at home today.

It is criminal, and unfathomable that we have allowed ourselves to go backwards after all the momentum we had gathered.

Watching Middlesbrough drop points is frustrating, we really should have been top of the table with the amount of stupid points dropped (then again. That can apply for a few clubs)

I imagine Brighton will be fine, as I understand you guys have been on a big cost cutting process recently - good idea IMO to establish yourself as a decent Championship team and then spend a year or two balancing the books before pushing again. Looking for to my trip to the Amex :)

I'm not sure how it relates to us, as I was under the impression that our submittance to the Championship FFP is for this season, not last season when we were in League One. But for some reason they've included us in there! Also, if it's true that Rotherham got promoted last season and only lost £500,000 then that's an awesome achievement.

If we failed it this year, it wouldn't likely come into effect until the 2015/2016 for us, so we should be OK. Our owner did a Q&A with the fans on a forum a few months ago and indicated that whilst several teams were clearly breaching the rules, we would have been borderline for this season... but we then sold Forshaw for £3.6m (of which we keep 60%) so are certainly fine for this season.

Turns out we turned down the opportunity to sign Danny Graham on loan from Sunderland this week, and also rejected Sylvain Ebanks-Blake too. We need a striker at the moment, so it would be nice to think we had someone lined up - Derby on Saturday followed by Forrest away next week. Difficult couple of weeks for us.

That seems to be the idea....but with Sami Hyypia in charge it is far more likely that this time next year we will be the richest club in League One:(

^I am not a fan of Danny Graham, but I'd snap him up in an instant right now!

Bournemouth are an exceptional footballing side. The Barcelona of the Championship :p.

Sheffield Wednesday really need a positive result, poor run of form since the League Cup destruction at the hands of Manchester City. There are so many problems at Wednesday, it really is heart breaking, however I am sure they are similar to other teams problems in the Championship.

Papered over the cracks last night. Wigan aren't a bad side. Same as us, they just desperately need a striker!

Btw, Wigan fans really hate Uwe Rosler!

<insert joke about Wigan having no fans here>

Recent years, Bournemouth and Watford have been the best footballing side's I have seen at H'boro.

I don't think there are any stand-out teams this year tbh. Bounremouth are playing well, but they were there for the taking when we played them on Saturday(well, they would have been by a team that wouldn't take both of their goalscorers off at 2-2 with 20 minutes left!)

I was hoping for a bit more of a challenge in the Championship, with this being our first season :p

Just kidding, there are some decent teams playing at the moment, and we just happen to be one of them at the moment - opposition supporters are continually underestimating us. Cracking season last night up in Forest, could have been 5-0 up at half time, and the last minute winner against Derby on Saturday was so sweet.

5 points off the top of the division, and the top 6 all play each other on Saturday, although we get one day less rest as they played on Tuesday. Looking forward to my first trip to The Den :)

not looking forward to the game against Derby tomorrow. Our defence seems a bit shaky, and we've been relying on Dicko and Sako for the majority of the good work up front. Would be disappointed to lose and come away with 1 point from 9.

Pleased with the season so far overall though. Top 6, playing reasonably well!

So are Boro at the majority of times. Not that anyone has had much chance to see them play when high scoring games get 20 seconds on the football league show with all of the build up cut out! Good example was them showing just the last 2 seconds of this

Saturday is a huge game for both teams tbh
