So, the Championship season has started **Spoilers**

M'boro remain the single most overrated side in the Championship. Played them twice this season and they were fortunate in the first match (score line did not reflect the match), and in the match this afternoon, mainly due to our manager being a tactical pygmy we wasted a good opportunity as they were poor, again.

Good win for Burnley, important win for Bolton.

I do find them incredibly boring to watch, they setup to not concede but have enough quality up top to always nick a goal, it's basically Chelsea in the Championship. They will get promoted and probably be a success in the PL due to how they play, not nice for the neutral but Boro fans won't care.

Yeh, I would agree with most of that. They're a solid defensive unit, organised and defensive. They have a couple of 'good' forwards that will nick a goal for them.

They are also an aggressive, dirty side who time waste a lot. I compare them to previous Championship champions (and promoted sides) and think they look average by comparison to Leicester, Burnley, Reading, Swansea, Watford, and Bournemouth (off the top of my head).

I am not convinced they will do well in the Premiership, due to their being well, just sides that are better at what M'boro do and the standard is increasing, sides in the Premiership are not as 'easy' to nick goals against and defend.

Ps. Yes I find them dull to watch too. Downing is a washed up Premier league player, and do the other players have the ability to sneak goals? Probably not.

That was the most ridiculous piece of goal keeping I think I've ever seen, I certainly hope Grant is in the starting 11 on Saturday at the Riverside :D

We were a lot better second half, interesting stat for you, we're the only team in the Championship not to have scored in the 90th minute or later and also our earliest goal is in the 22nd minute. Slow starters and slow enders? Jeez. Just let us attack, Evans, and bring Antenucci on, not Doukara!

3 games without a goal now.

Still been a great season, but it is disappointing... Honestly, you would expect a team that goes 21 games unbeaten to be at least 8-10 points clear at the top(or at the very least just top!), but we were 2nd with the run still on. All of those draws have caught up with us.

Tbf, Doukara has played well the last few games. 2 assists in the last 3 games i think..

Tummy you are sooo wrong that it's silly . IMO anyway

Yesterday wasn't their greatest performance. One of the worst even , they where favourites from start of season for a reason

top of the league with a game in hand
10 hours without conceeding
Beat the unbeaten benchmark of the league 3-0
Held their own against premier league teams
Thrashed most the teams in your comparison list in recent years :p

They are defensive yes but they also one of the best on the counter attack . with players like stuani , downing , adomah. They lost arguably their two best players at end of last season (and replaced them with washed up prem players according to you) and still improved . the best thing they have though is they are a team. They defend as a team , attack as a team. Win as a team

Have no idea how that is overrated :p

As for washed up downing , how many assists did he get last year ? Wasn't he capped for England in 2015 too. Never been a big fan of his but he could still more than cut it in the premiership

Would have been nice to be top and 6 pts above 3rd but I'm sure boro will fluff it for us soon enough anyway. (if they don't, we'll scupper it ourselves).

They have scored 3 goals 7 times this season. Very defensive :D

You know the argument though, Chelsea scored a lot last season but it's not fluid attacking football. Bournemouth last season were immense going forward, but obviously in turn conceded a lot. You are boring to watch regardless!`

He changed the game vs Wolves, that's literally the only good thing he's done since arriving! He isn't a Championship player.

Assisted Byram the other day v Forest too, he's hit a bit of form so i can see why he brought him on. He's not a Leeds player though, you're right.

Leeds haven't lost in 6 now. 3 wins, 3 draws. Not bad form, if we can turn a few of those draws into wins, there's no reason we can't push for play offs this season. We need a striker in the transfer window i think, someone proper lethal.

I'm sometimes iffy about away games and how we line up (And how he doesn't give Forshaw a chance etc), but some attitudes here stink of jealousy. Which is funny, given how we have no impact on anything.

i guess our definition of boring is different because some of the best defending as a team you can see and then fast counter attacks isnt really boring to me

yesterday wasnt the great example but there has been plenty of end to end games

first 30 mins friend and nsue spent most their time in the last third . as soon as shef wed started hitting long balls up they sat back and stayed there. snoozefest from then on with neither team really attacking. how many times did dimi even touch it ?

brighton for example was a much better game. great attacking from both teams
