So, the Championship season has started **Spoilers**

So lucky. That's the third time in 12 months we've outplayed you at home and have still managed to throw the points away. This time Button punching into his own net... urgh.

On a positive note, if that's the ability of the team top of the table, then we're really not that far behind. If we sort ourselves out defensively then we could have a real crack at promotion next season (if Judge stays!).

yep Brentford have had some unlucky results for sure !

the league is a tough/close one and its just going to get tougher and closer when you look at the teams teetering on the drop from the premiership !

To be fair, and it's a method which will likely see you win the league, but you physically kicked lumps of **** out of us again tonight. Not a dirty team, but incredibly cynical and physical, know when to scythe players down on the break, take a yellow for the team and slow the game down. Certainly not saying it's not effective, as it seems to be the way you play against us, but it's so frustrating to watch as an opposing fan. That said, defensively you looked very strong tonight. Great shape, well organised and focused. Can see why you barely concede any goals.

For the third home game against Boro we've played them off the pitch, but again have lost out to luck. In the 3 home games against Boro in the last 12 months we've conceded 29 fouls to their 48, and 7 yellows to their 12! BeentTwice up the the Riverside and three times watching the return fixture at home in the last 15 months and I desperately can't watch us play you again - I genuinely hope you get promoted this season ;)

yup and just over 2 years ago we where in the bottom half of the table leaking goals for fun in games that we wherent physical enough to win ! Basically the total opposite of what you just described . Karanka really has done wonders with some of that lot.

Never seen a boro side act like such a 'team' since when they spent 90% of their time in pubs with Robson :p there are no individuals. no one bigger than the rest.

Boro are in with a chance of storming the league if they keep this up.

The signs are there aren't they. Looking stronger than last season and not losing/drawing the games that really matter, which really hampered us last season. I think the team actually believe they can do it this year.

Interesting game against Bolton last night.

Firstly; If Bolton can keep playing that well away from home they will pick up away wins/draws.

Sheffield Wednesday were a little poor in defense but considering; Westwood, Turner, Lees, Hutchinson, are all injured and Hunt is half fit, that is a pretty good result. Forestieri is still clearly unfit (and/or carrying an injury) and Matias and Bus are injured so we did well in attack.

Once again it was Bannan and Lee in the middle of the pitch that were the driving force for the team and set the tempo.

We looked like we could score every time we attacked and were it not for Hooper's abysmal lack of composure we (he) would have had three more goals quite easily.

Future is bright, for a change. Two points outside of the playoffs.

Comprehensive victory over Cardiff who offered very little and we leapfrog Derby into 2nd.

Got Charlton this weekend, they beat us away, so its another huge banana skin which we are more than able of slipping on. Our home form is excellent though.

For some reason we haven't played well against the lesser sides but against the stronger sides like Boro, Burnley and Birmingham we have excelled.

Worst I've seen us play in maybe five years. I'd like to say Tarkowski refusing to play an hour before kick off threw us off or game, but we've been poor for weeks now.

Not pleased I've already bought my train and match tickets for Preston away next weekend...

Wish we had strikers who could score goals preferably lol.
Sure, we've managed a fair few goals, but in the league through the strikers they're basically none existent.

Great result for Hull, gits.

Didn't agree with derby's line up today. No Butterfield but kept Johnson, no bent on the bench whilst Martin rested? All wrong. Ah well, lose some.

Actually enjoyed the game today, despite Anthony Taylor's best efforts. Thought Leeds were ok, grew in to the first half and finished the second half strong. Thought Wednesday were probably the better side overall.

Nice to see Hooper get a brace, but Forestieri had a poor game.

Evans is an obese, unintentionally hilarious pygmy who seems to shout random instructions out that conflict with the assistant that was shouting next to him , but I could not stand the man prior to Leeds so nothing is changing now he's in charge of Leeds.

Taylor was inept, for both sides to be honest. Thought there could (and should) have been more yellow cards (probably resulting in second yellows for players on both sides) and the substation 'goal' was an absolute farce.

While I'm pleased with the clean sheet, enjoyed the game overall, thought that we could have probably had a couple more and Leeds should have had a couple.

Also; it should be anytime now that Evans should be get sacked if we're going on the average Leed's manager tenure :D.
