So, the Championship season has started **Spoilers**

Oh we all hate Leeds!

Chris Martin is just a beast. I hope we can keep this tempo throughout the season.

I take it you only post in here when you win ;)

Always nice to beat Dirty Leeds United FC, especially after a lot of their fans thought they'd beat us today after their fluke against Derby last week :)

2 posts in here, another sing when you're winning fan, eh?

Five wins in five. Third in the table and 1 point off top! Everything seems to be going well at the moment, and we weren't at out best yesterday despite the 4-0 scoreline. That said, it's a really tight division, and I'd be keen to see how we deal with a probably future wobble.

Away at Huddersfield Town next weekend - the girlfriend's family are all big Town fans, so it's me and the old man versus them all weekend. Not sure I'm going to not be a smug git if we win after him being so patronising when Town went up through the play-offs a few seasons back :)

Disappointing result. Brentford I think will start to fall away, they've been in dream world now but their goal difference is telling. I hope I'm wrong if course, would be great to see them challenging for play offs! :)

I was hoping to wake up to the news that Sami had resigned.... No idea how he is still there. Problem is, it is unlikely he will be sacked. Never seen a more tactically clueless manager in my life tbh. There is absolutely nothing to indicate he might ever be one either.

Relegation is looking quite likely if he stays.

Also, who the hell wants to play Millwall on a Friday night?!... We always play them on night games down here!... Same with Leeds

That's a mere opinion overseeing your posts in the sub section so far.

Anyway, back on topic...

Boro to win the league :)

My ocuk online presence is not strictly indicative of my real world life activity. I understand that this doesn't ring true for other people.

Boro? No chance! I see Ipswich taking 1st with Derby a close 2nd.

Leeds 5 pts off relegation zone though. It could be anyone in the bottom half going down yet!

I thought he had gone already! What a downfall he has put Brighton in.

And it is one of the rare occasions imo, where the problem is almost entirely down to the manager... There are problems with recruitment certainly, but the squad should still be doing much better than they are... Some of his tactics are just unbelievable!... 2-1 down to Fulham after 70 minutes last week, and we didn't even use all of our subs! The only striker we payed money for, Sam Baldock, was just sitting on the bench!

And as I always say(shout!) we should not be playing so defensively at home. When we get a lead everyone just sits back and we just wait for the equaliser. Ther is no leadership, and Sami must be the most uninspiring manager since Magath at Fulham!

It is so easy to work out our tactics. I don't fancy us to beat anyone playing like this... At this point I would even take McDermott, and I can't stand him!

I fancy Watford for the league.

You started hating on Poyet, then Garcia and now Hypia :p

I never for one second hated Poyet!... I just knew he had to go. It was a case of loving him, but with all of the things he said and did, there was no way he could have possibly continued in the job, as it was hurting both him and the club. We played the best football I have seen under him and we're very successful, but his constant moaning wasn't doing anyone any favours.

Garcia was simply not very good. He played boring football and it didn't take long to find that out!

Sami - well.... Just look at his record!

Our goal difference is average as we took two hammerings a couple of months ago (3-0 and 4-0 in consecutive games), yet we're scoring similar amounts to those teams around us at the top. I wouldn't be surprised either way if we dropped off somewhat or maintained our current position, we've got the talent in the squad but are maybe lacking the Championship-level nous and experience that would enable us to see out games. That said, we've won every game that we've taken the lead in, and are scoring late too.

On Saturday we weren't good - worked hard and tried, but nothing was coming off for us (misplaced passes, mistimed runs, etc.). It's heartening to hear that several Huddersfield fans thought we were the/one of the best footballing sides to play them this season, but it was probably out third worst performance so far. We lost to an own-goal and had two attempts cleared off the line :(

Got Blackburn, Cardiff, Ipswich and Wolves up next, so could be an important few weeks.

No idea what's happened to Brighton this season. Think I read somewhere that Bloom has gone on a cost-cutting program this season, but Sami seems to be tactically inept and wholly uninspiring - managers need to instill self-belief. They need to get a few results to pull themselves away from the drop zone.

Really looking forward to the Christmas schedule :)

boo, 5 losses in a row for Wolves now.

I was hopeful of at least a top half finish this season, but we really haven't been playing well, and 2 of our best players are out in Jan, so not sure how we will fare in the next couple of months! Really need any sort of win at the moment!
