So, the Championship season has started **Spoilers**

Villa fan here - got away with one there. Leeds best side at VP this season so far I would say..good luck for the season, got one hell of a defender in that Jansson there.

UTV

Yeah he's really solid. We missed Bartlet tonight. Cooper has to many mistakes in him. In the end we got away with it after the superb save from green.

Really good game second half anyway, end to end!

Not sure there is any point going to the game tonight. I can barely see 2ft in front of me!

Edit- aaaand it's been called off. I've already traveled for over an hour. At least I hadn't got there I suppose!

Really annoying though, giving Newcastle the chance to go top again

The fog is crazy across Sussex, can barely see the stadium from the A27.

When is it re-scheduled for? Surely can't be tomorrow as they're playing again on Monday.

We were so good second half, had so many decent chances. I would have taken a point before hand but after that second half how we didn't walk away with 3 I'll never know. Superb away performance.

Aye, it certainly shows how far we've come this season when we're disappointed with an away point at Villa. Good performance, just needed that bit of luck!

What a day. Getting battered by Fulham, suddenly in 3 minutes we score 2 and Newcastle concede!... And in other places Reading score 3 in the second half to win 2-3, Huddersfield score late to win yet again(how good are they doing?!) and Leeds win easily.

Exciting stuff at the top of the table!

Massive massive result for us today.

Also, lucky Birmingham got rid of Rowett when they did!

Massimo Cellino has sold 50% of Leeds United to Andrea Radrizzani.

Radrizzani recently sold 65% of his Media company in Italy to Chinese investors for $1 billion, hopefully this means we'll have some money to play around with this month. :)

Can't believe we lost to Newcastle. Were all over them for the best part of 70 minutes, hit the post and ball trickled along the line just before they scored the winener with their only proper attack of the second half. Had a load of very good penalty shouts turned down. Blurgh.

Good win for the Owls today.

Hudderbore were absolutely hilariously poor in the first half, death by boring the opposition. 'Keep the ball' screamed Wagner constantly, time wasting, passing side to side in defence, and the inevitable long diagonal ball over our full back. Wednesday were poor in the first half, but only because Wednesday were more concerned about what Huddersbore were doing, than attacking them.

Second half was a totally different story, Fletcher off (who has, imho, been an incredibly underwhelming signing) and Winall on. Higher tempo and Huddersbore transformed in to Huddersmoan, as per, when they did not get their own way.

Wagner's outrage and moans over Wednesday's second goal being 'offside' were hilarious, Huddersfield had a player on the line, obviously his glasses are not working. Nor was a vicious tackle from behind after losing the ball a red card apparently.

Funny seeing some urgency creep in to the Huddersfield team at this point, more long balls over our defence, more desperate lumps forwards, their defence making mistakes. Their side were incredibly well organised, but showed almost no ambition in the first half. Second half their confidence visibly drained away and suddenly a side who had no intention of doing anything than long diagonal balls and possession found themselves having to try and attack.

Boring. Dull. Have absolutely no idea, why Huddersfield are in the position they are in. Baffling that a side that average can be so high in the table.

Seasons go by and some things in football change, some things do not. Huddersfield moaning constantly and their time wasting football do not.

Wednesday were excellent in the second half, much better than recent performances too.

Also; Derby are hilariously poor.

Quality performance, should have scored way more. Derby one of the worst sides I've seen this season, if not the worst.

Cannot have seen many teams this season then, Derby are underperforming and were terrible under Pearson, but far from the worst teams in the league.

*Looks at Wigan*
*Waves at Rotherham*

Well you haven't seen many sides this season then have you? :)

Are you defending your performance? You couldn't string passes together, you could barely get the ball our of your own half, for all the money spent you created much to nothing, and we had a make shift defence!

Well both them teams did quite well against us, embarrassingly. I didn't say Derby were one of the worst teams in the league but the performance last night was atrocious.

Yeah we had a poor performance. To say we're one of the worst sides you've seen this season though? Fishing or what.

Needless to say, both teams will no doubt be scrapping in another season of mediocrity next season. That goes for Wednesday too. We can tell you're all getting excited you're in the heady heights of play off realms though! Woop woop!

Meh, form is temporary. Class is permanent.

Poor sides have good performances, and good passages of play, does not mean they are anything other than terrible, and also can coincide with your team (or mine, whomever) having a poor performance.

I think Leeds are overachieving this season (relatively), I think they are a good mid table team. They have an excellent Championship manager in Monk though, given a bit of money, Leeds could go on to better things. I'm still not sold on Monk in the top division mind.

Derby are just so underwhelming and poor. It would be tragic if it were not so amusing. So much money spent, some genuinely good players, meddling chairman and below average managers.
