So.... Travellers have ended up in our carpark!

Putting all the vigilante action to one side what is the actual official law abiding way of getting them off your land?

There has to be one as councils do it all the time, I'm guessing its rather long winded and expensive though.

Hmm, I wonder if sonic cannons would be allowed, they're non-lethal but you'd probably still get done for something if you did use one...

some of the campervans and trailers cost a lot of money. doubt that is a problem for them.

Makes me wonder how they afford the camper vans and trailers....

Walked past a traveller camp today, there was a brand new Audi estate sat outside a caravan. Wonder how they earn money? all they ever seem to do is build new illegal buildings on the site near me...

steal and con.

A few gypos had camped near a local pub, in the car park to be exact.

They would sit in the pub and just cause trouble. The kids would go around and steal all the cutlery etc.

And I even saw a little girl pulll her skirt up and go for a **** against the wall of the pub :S

I have a suggestion for them:

1. Get a job.
2. Buy a house.
3. Become a member of society & stop freeloading!

There's also a gypo camp about 5 minutes away from where I live. One family there didn't want to live there anymore, the parents got a job and they now live in a house! :D

Amazing.

Having said that one of the kids threw a coke bottle at my dads car.

He reversed and drove after them, needless to say there was a trail of poo following them, they where so scared.

Why would they? They are so protected by law it's unbelievable. Even the idiot police liaison type people came in screaming when the gypos got hit by the armed response. After they shot the security guard with an air rifle.

They also made us move everywhere away from the fence otherwise they could sue us. It's so totally ***** up it beggars believe.

Seen as it is your workplace and there isn't much you can do, i suggest feeding the horse and making small talk with the gypos. Might stop your car getting wrecked and you will have the best back-up if you get in a fight at work.

we had some gypos move onto a working field just outside our house a few years back. The farmer just happened to scheduled muck spreading for the day they arrived, they were gone pretty sharpish when the tractor started spreading.

couldn't you do something like that, something that isn't illegal but makes living there impossible?

I'm a fan of those "microwave" cannons (or whatever they're called) they have in Iraw that heat the surface layer of skin moisture to intolerable levels. I would pay to see a youtube vid of that on a ***** gathering. :D

In all seriousness, have you asked them politely to leave?

What planet do you live on?

turn up with a digger and push them back out the exit they came in

MW

My mates dad owns a few companies such as a scrap metal place and a road furniture company etc... - bunch of ****** setup next to one of his units and were rather swiftly moved along by some 'hired goons' with a JCB

This happened just a few years ago near my grandparents' house.

What the report doesn't say:

It took about a year to get them evicted.

They only "owned" the land through a mixture of intimidation and threats to a local.

Burglaries became much more prevalent (one in a few years to several in a few weeks in my Nan's street).

The people protesting to support them were other gypos and a self rightous group of ****s from London who knew nothing of the situation.

The building work mentioned involved them pouring tarmac over a meadow or two for them to camp on.

Once evicted they moved to a local cricket club car park, then managed to get a ban put on social functions there as the noise of the parties was waking their children up.

Edit: actually it was nearly 3 years and it was greenbelt land.
