I got a serious reprimand at work for bringing a sack of potatoes to work instead of the company laptop for third time!

It's an easy mistake to make - potatoes - laptop - laptop - potatoes.

I wish laptop manufacturers would do more to stop their products looking like a sack of King Edwards!! :D
 
I had the old ***** switcharoo bag laptop bag thing happen to me and a mate years ago... we wouldnt part with any cash until we had the laptop in hand so they gave up and legged it :D

Nope i would admit if i didnt sell properly.

The item in question was the Oleg meerkat. The first time someone bidded £84 then sent a massive rant about how must have a disgrace i am for selling a teddy and it was their 5yr old bidding... Re auctioned it, someone won for £60. All went through. Then wanted a refund because it didnt have a letter from the insurers which you get with it for taking insurance out. The GF works for the company and got it for a xmas pressie. So of course no letter. Roll on 2 weeks of arguments i take it to ebay to decide and for a change they roll my favour.. People on there want everything for nothing.

So no puff here :p
 
Taking into account the grammar in the responses what do we think the odds are the seller managed to spell the address properly?

Probably won't even receive the parcel.

He drove off and I hid the potatoes in the van while I finished up. Jumped in the van with excitement and opened up the bag.... Looked at my partner and used a couple of expletives but laughed.... Nothing i could do and took it on the chin. I know what ****** are like and yet I chanced it. :D

... especially if it being delivered by Hermes!

It will probably turn up the following day at a different address altogether... if it ever arrives at all, that is! :)

On the other hand of course, the OP might just find that he has got himself a really good deal... only time will tell! :)
 
Although I'm expecting a few parcels today for me, it's the OP's postman I'm more excited about arriving!
 
I am so looking forward to the photo's/video of the unboxing. Part of me wants the OP to get an XBONE but the devil side of me wants to see the brick/xbox V1 :D
