It's great people quoting the Mystique for £35, but I got mine from OCUK for about £70 in March last year! Still worth every penny!
I'd love the new card to be as good value as the Mystique, but do you guys think that a new product with limited supply will retail for the same price as last years soundcard?

Interesting card.
I like the fact that you can swap out the opamps for something better.
And while im confident that movies & music will sound good, the lack of EAXHD concerns me. As EAXHD makes a lot of difference to games that use it properly.

as far as EAX goes I've never been impressed. I've always found the effects either too imposing or not at all. I would rather have surround sound without EAX than anything else with it. I had an Audigy 2 with some DTT3500 before my X-Mystique and AV amp/speaker set up. I found that even with games that had EAX 3 etc I would just turn the effects off.

the only reason it went up to £70 (that's right, UP) was limited supply. So i think yeah, it's going to be around £75.

I am sure it will be less shortly guys with the way the $ rate is at the moment and the manufacturers being so vague with price. As soon as I get a nailed cost I will update you all.
