Solar panel production figures

Cloud hit at 2:20pm here, still generating but nowhere like it was before. Water tank got charged by 11:30 so had to get stuff on rapidly instead of exporting.

ed:

Just watched the forecast for tomorrow @Welshman :D its not good.

Probably end up with just over 18kwh for the day…..pvoutput is showing less due to a fault with my sensor earlier.

Pretty good day, but with huge blocks of cloud and we pretty much stop producing at around 6:30pm at the moment as the sun goes drifting off around the back of the house.

Another day soundly beating forecast - prediction was 18.5kWh, ended up with 30.3kWh.

Exported 32.18kWh (£9.18) and imported 8.97kWh (£1.82)

Free lunches end now though as we’re back home so normal usage will recommence!

Because I also imported 8.97kwh charging the packs up during off peak (at 20.5p) and the have the battery set up to try to dump 5kwh during the peak Flux hours (at 36.8p).

I only dump 5kWh of the 15kWh total capacity as I don’t want to run out and start rebuying at the standard 34.2p rate - I figure after round trip losses that’s probably not far off break even with the 36.8p export rate so very little, if any, gain and just extra wear on the batteries.

So far though not bad, the three days I was away the house made about £20 net profit for me with one day being almost a total write off. On Go all that export would have been worth about £3 instead.

Generated 18.7kWh and exported 7.3kWh today despite it only turning sunny after midday.

We're averaging 17.5kWh so far in April - 263kWh for the first half of the month. March was 340kWh all month.

19.2 kWh, downhill just after 2pm but the spring weather definitely generating well on the panels. Looks like April is better than a September but not quite as good as August. The cooler temperatures likely helping the efficiency.

A lousy morning, but perfect afternoon, produced 33.09kWh, and exported 27kWh. Tomorrow's forecast is for a full day of sun.

I spent the morning doing an evaluation of how far you can discharge the battery below 46volts, got it down to 44.5volts before the BMS shut it down to save the cells. After that it was reset the BMS and charge up with the sun starting to shine. Ended up with 16.9 kWh generated at 5.7 efficiency and ran my air con in the afternoon because I didn't want to give away generation, still exported 6.2kWh @6p a unit.

Not long after I posted the cloud still here but brighter. Just a tad over 1kW so there is optimism the afternoon could get better.

I had install very late July, so August was my only full month to base on. I am surprised April is doing so well its nearly as good as August, but I need some more sunny days to confirm. So far monthly gen is 220kWh with about 2 weeks to go.

Mine is doing well this month. not a huge system but I have panels both sides of the roof so get steady generation for a longer period rather than a load for short period (10x360w panels on east roof and 5x360w on west side (there is room for 2 more and wish the installers had listened to me when they measured up)

247kwh generated so far in April and 7.7kwh generated already today and it's only 12:30, and not even a sunny day.

Ahem:

Welcome ideas for set effects/programmes of colour changes - can basically do anything using PVOutput or Solar data (or indeed any other data in the household) ....
Forgot to say in the original post, I have it pulsing red like a cylon when Ronski is ahead of me now.... ;)
