Solar panel production figures

Very close here as well, Installed September 1st last year, and currently at 3977 kWh generated. 3 more days to go so should hit 4 mWh before month is up.
Good luck, July being very temperamental this year but today isn't too bad, so far im up to 11.10 yield so prob about 10.5 actual after traveling but I still cant check, it seems that since the unit was right below router they neglected to install the antenna so that might have been the cause of all the problems and I wasn't told nor did they leave it here so have to get that sorted. It still sends a signal but as temperamental as the weather it seems since it doesn't have the antenna to provide a boost.

Anybody here with Givenergy try going to their community page, I am getting

Check who the cert issuer is, it should be Lets Encrypt. I suspect something on your network or via your ISP is hijacking the https. Could be AV or some kit you have running.

They are having issues, I tried with phone and via VPN to access the community forums and it was just hanging, got an email back from them a few minutes ago.

Looks like im capping out at 14.40 for today, daily we usually average ~14-15kwh give or take so basically 50/50 split between home and battery so should have enough to get us through the night, hope installer comes out and sorts the connection out so I can get the GE dashboard info back.

Not a great month for generating at all (we're about 200 units below last month), but we've had it installed now for a year so to date we've had.

4721kwh produced by the panels - the estimate was 4700kwh, and if this month had been a little better we'd have easily got another 100 or so.
Battery usage: 2300kwh, just charging from the panels.
Export: 951kwh
Best month was last August: 726kwh
Worst was December: 95kwh

It's proven that we made the right decision to get a battery, but something slightly larger than 6.5kwh would have been better.
It's also proven that another 6.5kwh battery would be nuts in terms of payback unless we were out a lot more, or the price of them drops a lot (IIRC currently they're around 2.5k)

We've also just had an email from British gas telling us they're moving us to their new Export and Earn Plus, which is 15p per kwh rather than the old tariff that was 6.4.

It looks like they're changing it so the old tariff is now for people who don't import from BG, whilst the 15p one is for people that also get their electricity billed through BG.

Something tells me that they're possibly doing this in advance of the government review of SEG so they can say "see we're paying a fair rate guv".

IIRC their "normal" (previously only) SEG tariff was something like 3.4p a unit until about April, which is part of the reason I didn't rush to do the paperwork over the winter (I think I would have got a whole tenner!).

Fairly decent today, generated 19.8kWh and exported 8.3kWh. Another negative cost day thanks to Flux.

I think the companies might start to take SEG a bit more seriously as they're starting to lose a lot of customers due to it. Some of the current rates offered are borderline criminal.

Yep this is what Octopus do as well, can only get the better rates if you also import through them. Sounds like they're matching Octopus 15p/kWh export tariff.

Surprised at your generation last August being so good, my best month so far was this June where I hit just under 750, this month I'll barely get above 500.

I think I'll wind up somewhere approaching 4500 for the year, on a 4.8kW system I think this is reasonable, especially as I do get some shading at the beginning and end of the day, and my roof also shades itself.

Only just sat down with coffee, been up 20 minutes and loading everything up, ive already beaten the 27th, currently up to 7.7kwh :D lets keep this up saturday.

Edit
I am loving Saturday

I whipped out my decade old ipad air with a 200mb data sim in it from 3 to see if I could get the GE portal working via that til installers contact me on monday, have to wait for a while to see if it works.

so with 2 days of july left, we still get 23kwhs to get, to beat April…….
