It gets pretty grim through winter, I've had days prior to adding the second system where I've generated 0, December is the worst, closely followed by January, days are so short and the weather grim.

I have, just looking back through the 8 previous Decembers I've got three days with zero generation, of course it could be an error, but I've got other days with very little generation recorded.
The SolarEdge system certainly kicks in a little later than the Victron system, so that is most likely the cause of zero days, it just doesn't get up to the minimum required to start up.
No such power ups for me, and I'm only 8 miles from Bug one.

Victron forecasts 17.4 kWh for tomorrow, weather looks good but some clouds.
My batteries down to 48% and only force exported 6 kWh, it was only on 77% at 16:00, going to be interesting how low it goes tonight. It will stop force discharging at 45%, which we normally hit at 7pm, I'm replotting Chia so extra power being used there along with being the weekend.

My battery hit 11% last night, started drawing from the grid at 23:30, first time in a long time its got that low, but I am using quite a bit of power at the moment.

Managed 21.7 kWh here, still didn't get up to 100% SOC though.
We got 9.3 for the day, total for the month so far is 394kWh, which is an average of 17.1 a day.
If its reception issues they can supply external antenna's, or at least one's that you can mount higher up.
Had a good day, got 16.1kWh today.
I've been running a workstation 24/7 since Saturday afternoon, its using around 500 - 600w, and my system just can't cope. I've limited forced exports as the batteries are getting down to 5% SOC, I did have the cut off set at 10%.
I just can't get enough charge into the batteries to get them full, even charging at 8kW for three hours off peak, and then with the very poor solar, I've not had a full SOC since 17 October, well before the extra load came on.
Just goes to show what heavy electric use can do in the winter months. Workstation should be done what its doing by Saturday, so hopefully better service resumes.

11.8kWh here, rest of the month is looking like more of the same. Mind you its all down hill for a couple more months.
