Solar panel production figures

I was hoping someone on site was going to do it, then I could have checked about the 'admin' tab.
I know they won't give it to me and will be a nightmare to get it now it's being setup by office staff

They never rush to take scaffolding down, until they need it.

I never had the admin tab. But a quick email to my installer of six years ago and it was sorted, hopefully yours is as easy.

11.55kWh today, efficiency of 2.8875 ;)

Yeah I know, but even with 1000kwh Ron-ski would still say he prefers to track by efficiency, colour of panels or some other obscure metric.... ;)

When comparing systems its all about the efficiency, just ask @Welshman, of course at the end of the day it is the total generation (8 days to go) that really matters - there I said it once, I won't say it again :D

I see that PET (iwrox) has an effcieincy of 4.298kWh/kW today on PV Output live charts.

3.462 efficiency…..smallest system, great efficiency

Very nice result again.

Well actually the figure that more interests me is the % free energy or total energy cost - ie I don't really care about efficiency if we can get to zero bills (indeed, that's exactly what I'm looking at at the moment - ie installing extra panels in a marginally less efficient spot to further reduce my bills.

I think this is a really cool period we're in where we have the ability to radically reduce our living costs with nerd power from guys like you (and the occasional girly engineer!). Basically I've taken our electricity costs, oil heating costs, petrol costs and so on, added them together and I'm plotting ways to reduce them as close as possible to zero. So if I can get a 80% reduction in these annual costs in ten years, then that's far more interesting than efficiency!
Absolutely agree, ultimately at a household level it's all about savings, or being more environmentally friendly. The efficiency figure is purely for meaningful comparison.
Think you'll struggle with 30+kwh once it warms up! 3.2kwh system right?

I think he may just get 30, possibly, my 4kw system has never produced 30kWh in a day (28 being the max IIRC, 26 more often), but it's not all South facing, it's split across two roof's, 90 degrees to each other.

Started generating at 7:58, by 10am was generating 2kw and had generated 2.1kWh, going to be a good day if the sun stays out.

A perfect solar day 13.17kWh 3.2925 efficiency

Just looking at pvoutput live….is @iwrox system reading right, hes got a 4.2kwh system, putting out 4.4kwhs

I'm not sure who that is, but their generation for the day 19.1kWh looks rather high for a 4.235kw system, noticed that the other day as well, but its south facing at 35 degree pitch.

I'll be on the phone to the installers tomorrow.

Do I have a valid reason to be concerned?
Any pointers on things to raise with them?

Ir should I just call EPVS and see what they say?
If it's maxing out now, then that's going to be a lot of lost generation in the summer, request an upgrade to 5kw inverter, only reason you have a 3.6kw is because the paperwork is easier. They can apply for G99 and change the inverter if approved.
