Solar panel production figures

Today's generation was 22.63kWh, Battery fully charged and 3kW exported. @katie279 is quiet lately ;) might as well make the most of it before she gets all them extra panels installed :D

When are you going to add it to pvout? We need your scores to boost the OcUK team! :D

Seriously though you must be so chuffed that your hard work has paid off so well.

I'm very pleased, still needs some fine tuning on the settings relating to charging/discharging the battery, but its getting there. Very pleased with the generation, should be well over producing come the summer, just hope I can get on to Flux :D

As for PV Output, I'm working on it, I set up Home Assistant yesterday, then thought I really should be able to do this on the Victron Cerbo, Goolged and found this thread, I had seen this a couple of weeks ago, but someone has updated it with something I can hopefully get working.

Potentially ordering the cells for the second battery tomorrow, but delivery won't be until late April.

What are your targets based upon out of interest? the data your installers provided?
Its based on this companies predictions of what my system should produce from what my installers told me

My target moves from 175 in feb to 343 in Mar. Feb actual will be around 225, although it does feel like it was a good month.
Mine is based on a typical UK profile and 3900 annual generation if that helps.

yours are all just slightly higher then mine, based on system size.....My feb target was 146 and we are at 178 at the moment

Your south facing though right?
I think my scaling will be a bit out as I am probably more significantly hit in winter months being west facing

these are just starting values for me as i get actual months come in I am averaging this with actual for 24 targets and will do same for 25. Then 26 onwards will just be my last 3 year average as my target.
Should be close enough for decision making on tariffs (etc)

yes predominantly south facing, maybe a few degrees off perfect.....but i do get the sun at the front of the house in summer from around 6am to 9pm and the panels are on the front elevation

I've had the following actual generation for March from a 4kw system, have got figures going back to 2016 but the app doesn't show them.

2019 334 kWh
2020 430 kWh
2021 360 kWh
2022 390 kWh

Useful comparator.
I should be about 20% down on them due to facing, but about 20% up based on array size.
Which means those numbers (avg. 378) puts my 343 firmly in the cautious achievable range.
