Sold on Ebay, buyer is round the corner.. can I hand deliver?

I survived guys, it was all not very exciting :( No comeback from Ebay after cancelling the sale... so far..

£2.99 postage is your fee to walk the 10 minutes round trip is it not? Why does it matter if its the postman or you. Just package it up as you would have done anyway and then walk and post it.
My god... £2.99 is worth about 3.5 seconds of effort

How do you guys put so much time, effort and energy into something like this?

Time is valuable, stress is draining.

£3,075/hour, you're doing well.
round it down to 000s and you're on point... when i work for a friend or excisting contract, at least

What's your point?

OP has spent hours working on this, commenting about it, thinking about it, fussing over it, advertising it, stressing over it... was all that time really worth only £3 or £20?

If so, OP desperately needs to re-prioritise.

Chuck the invaluable item in the trash and spend the same time building a side project... would have easily made more.

Evaluating the utlisation of your time, is a valid point.

Hello post number 12? lol... Welcome to GD. Glad you've already got your Gucci belt on, clearly.

I did this once years ago, they had a classic Rolls Royce Phantom on their driveway big fountain very fancy country house. Friend got their signature on delivery and took a pic of parcel handed over, no biggy. Ive worked for a courier, hand delivery in a car beats being thrown around a few different warehouses on the way
