Should up the postage fee for the personal touch.Yes the £18 is the correct amount.
You can't expect to get the £18+£2.99 if you are not using the postal service that was purchased.
Or I could have not told him and chucked it through the letterbox? I would have received the full £21 that he's already paid, minus £2.99 fees? So basically because I was honest I failed to make a couple extra quid? Typical! You're still better off with £18 cash.
Ebay take 12% including postage cost. You've sold for £21 including postage so Ebay take ~£2.50 and you'd have to pay ~£3 postage. End of the day you'd get £15.50 selling though Ebay.
Except he's getting it hand delivered as opposed to lost in the postal system?(snip) It wouldn't be fair at all to expect the buyer to pay the extra amount.
Click the button that creates a qr code that the buyer scans when you deliver. It's very simple.
Ebay has this to prevent exactly the issues that could happen. Done this plenty and it works well.
Doesn't save the fees though presumably. It took 17 posts for the correct answer to appear?
Fortunately you are wrong, most people are decent human beingsUnfortunately chances are he would say it never arrived. What a world.
Doesn't save the fees though presumably.
How expensive is the item?
If it's like under 50 I'd do it by hand.
I did it once ages ago with an expensive item. I pretended to be a courier and got the guy to sign a piece of paper for it!
I hope you wore a uniform and acted in a hasty manner.

Maybe he lives in a big house on a nice road because of all his ill-gotten gains from scamming, and likes 69ing with 19 year olds.I don't think he's a scammer, he lives in a very nice road with big houses and his username is hisname1969 so he's 50-odd
He’s sending his wife to meet me outside the pub later to make the transactionOP gone missing now in the buyers cellar.
