If you already have a windows install then yes put it in a slave drive and update the firmware using the ocz toolbox firmware updater befor you do a clean windows install.

Trouble is I've got to go out round about the time postie usually delivers and could be away for rest of the weekend and due to the crappy opening times of our local depot it could be monday evening before I get to play with it (assuming I'm back before monday morning and/or get up early enough to collect it lol).
