I fitted a Samsung 830 128gig in my laptop and that doesn't have AHCI so i only got 300mb/s max so really that seems about right if you're in LBA mode.

Will these SSD drives work in an external case like a normal 2.5" drive???????

I tried fitting it into my Lepa 2.5" HDD case, that I got from ocuk and I could not actually get to to fit, when I did manage to actually squeeze it in and power up the caddie and plugged it in, nothing happened so I doubt it was seated correctly, strangely my old 80gb 2.5" hdd fits in fine :S
Pretty annoying as this is the reason I bought it, but I expect its just the caddie, will look into getting another one some time.

how will this benefit me ? and really dont want the entire hassle of having to reload all my stuff is ther a way of just puttign this in and then reloasding teh os onto it whiel still keeping the os in my normal drive ? dont want to load all my stuff again think ive said that lol .

So why the bump in price?

Does the price increase effect orders that have already been placed?

Only I am pretty certain OCUK bumped up the price of one of my components overnight and my 'outstanding orders' page was updated with the new price because the order had not been 'printed in our warehouse', even though I am nearly 100% certain that when I added the item to my basket it was £15 cheaper!

Wasnt overly happy, but what can you do?
