I first ordered it Monday night along with some memory after I contacted OCuk today to find out when the order was to be shipped was told the memory was actually out of stock so they had to cancel the entire order so I redid the order earlier at 3:21pm after the money was refunded and looks like it won't be shipped today :(

I've finally succumbed too and ordered one to play with (my 1st ssd), hopefully it'll arrive tomorrow. Probably end up using it as a caching drive, still waiting on OcUK getting the 2TB WD Reds in though.

Well lets say OcUK are shipping 2000 of these a day, assuming a very conservative 10 hour working day...

That means they have to pack and ship 3 to 4 SSDs every minute plus you've got logistics being slowed down by 5UB swinging through the aisles randomly interrupting packing with Haribo :D

Damn I wouldn't like to be down on the warehouse floor today
 
Hey guys

Got mine today, with a packet of Haribo ;), again excellent service!

Slight problem, hopefully someone can give me assistance!

Installed ARMA II CO and mods onto it, sole reason for buying!

Ever since I get a freeze for around 30 seconds, game totally hangs, then it will come back! It was perfect on my Vertex 3 boot drive, just wanted the extra space!

Any ideas anyone?

Just wanna say thanks to OCUK for doing this sort of thing (silly pricing on components). Been pestering a friend to upgrade his laptop as I'm fed up of him pestering me that it's too slow and needs sorting out. For this sort of money it's a no brainer, which is just as well in my mates case...
 
My first SsD also. It should arrive today. Just a question about the firmware update. I don't think I have done one of these before. Do I put it in as a slave drive first to update firmware before I start a clean install of windows 7/8?. Also is the firmware on the website (OCZ)? Thanks.
 
I've bought 3 of these, not great for a games PC with the size requirements but great to give the other family computers a noticeable speed boost.

If you already have a windows install then yes put it in a slave drive and update the firmware using the ocz toolbox firmware updater befor you do a clean windows install.
