No XP doesn't support TRIM. Has to be Windows 7.

Hmm didn't release that some SATA controllers don't support TRIM - news to me. How can that be confirmed/checked? :rolleyes:

EDIT: Do I have to reinstall W7 if I want to create a RAID setup? (Not operating system just a separate partition I will be keeping games on).

Guys, question. just bought two. one for me and the other halfs laptops. if i image the old disks, slap them on to these and ensure the laptops controllers in AHCI mode will i need to do anything else to enable TRIM support?
 
Wasn't there an issue with the reliability of these drives or have they been fixed now?
