Mine arrived today too, great monitor, and thankfully no dead pixels. I do have abit of backlight bleed on each of the corners though which is slightly anoying (but ill get over it) and can only be seen on a full black screen.

Heres an over exadurated image of my monitor in darkness it is most definatly not this bright in use :D , but it does show where the brightest parts are in the corners.

mine is exactly the same when brightness is up full, droped it down to 20 and you can't notice it. NO dead pixels, NO ghosting, My games have never looked so good :D. I lose maybe 5-10fps going to 1680x1050 over 1280x1024 so all is good in the land of battlfield II .....

Does anyone feel that the top part of the screen feels warm after prolonged use? I keep mine on 10+ hours a day.
Mine is warm but it is not hot so I don't see it as a problem - especially as the power supply is in the monitor. My previous TFT, though cooler, had a separate power brick and my old CRT ran a lot hotter on top!

there is a fair bit of heat being pumped out of the top yes. I think i can turn the radiator off in this computer room, the monitor and the computer exaust fines do a fine job of heating the room up ;)

thinking of picking one of these up this weekend but have one question, i have a ati x850 gfx card and i still play allot of quake3, will the image be streched or can i tell the card to run it at the resolution i want and have black boarders? ive seen that nvidia let u have the black boarders but does the ati or monitor let me?

With abit of tweaking the game should run at the monitors native resolution.

For the most part, via VGA lower screen resolutions will be stretched to fill the screen, but the hardware scaling is great so it where it is not possable to force a higher res...its not so bad. My previous Hyundai L90D had absolutly awful Scaling by comparison and wasnt realy usable in anything other then its native res.

The Ati scaling options only become active via DVI conection(which i dont have yet) so cant say what ati's scaling options will do yet, but it should leave the Original resolution at its normal res in the centre of the screen with borders all round (no stretching), or full screen stretch mode. Dont think a correct aspect scalling mode is available in current drivers.

Just got mine ! :D

Nice monitor, I had a 17" viewsonic vp171b before and the panel is as good imho. The viewsonic had a few more tricks like a far better stand etc, but all in all im impressed.

ZOMG! Widescreen gaming is uba!

Looking good, especially the cs:s screenies.

Notice ** a left handed mouse user aswell

For the people that are using this with their 360, how are you finding this monitor? Are you seeing any ghosting in your games at all? I ask because a few of you have said you have seen ghosting whilst playing games through your pc. Which in some cases downloading new firmware can solve it but that's not going to work if connected to your Xbox 360.

I did buy the Acer AL1916W 19" Widescreen but was really disappointed with it. It was just too bright and black just looked like a dark grey. The Xbox dashboard looked awful. How do blacks look on this screen? Or has anyone tried Condemned on it? How does that perform?

Many thanks
