SOME RYZEN 7 1700 OVERCLOCKING!

Is there a way to bypass a power switch, I have put my spare board in but nothing will power on, if I jump my psu it powers up the AIO, but when I plug it into the board nothing, the leds on my graphics card are on on this is the second board I have tested so there is no way it's 2 dead boards so the only thing I can try now is the jump the board with out the power switch but I don't know how

No mate the crosshair gave me an error8 this morning so I took it out and rebuilt my system with my asus b350 board but the system won't power on so I have bought a gigabyte 350 and it still won't power on, I have jumped my psu and it powers on my AIO so it can't be the psu, the lights come on the graphics card when every thing is plugged into the board but the thing still won't power on

I have even hooked up my old Corsair psu just to make sure it wasn't the psu

My thoughts are CPU is dead

But wouldn't the board still power up? And give some beeps?

Not always. I've only ever had 1 dead cpu and it would not power up despite everything looking ok.
On the other hand I've also had bad ram that gave the same symptoms.

I was in the process of boxing everything up and I thought I would put the crosshair in to ensure it's the cpu that's dead ant the thing has only booted up to windows no code8 error of anything, what the hell is going on

What cooler are you using? I know there was some early reports of backplates causing issues.

Using the EK Predator or Supremacy rubber gasket causes the board not to turn on or become unstable. Contact EK directly for a replacement.

Just got another code8, so I have cut down one of the rubber gaskets so it's just a few MM either side of the hole and touch wood that seems to have worked

I had this same problem this weekend on the Gigabyte Gaming K7. Removed the middle part of the rubber gasket and left all worked fine

Glad to help. They are some of the best I've used and they outperform the corsair LED's costing twice as much.
I used to like the arctic cooling F12's but they don't last long enough. I've got some 140mm noctua sat here but they are ugly as hell so I wont use them, quiet though.
