SOME RYZEN 7 1700 OVERCLOCKING!

Ok can someone help me please. Got a gaming 5 and team group dark pro 16g 3200 (non 8pack) and I can not get it to go over 1600mhz when booted in win10, In the bios it says it is running 3200mhz but not in Windows. I have set all the timings manually and selected 2T command rate, which when I launch cpuz still says it it 1T. Also set these:
RAM volts 1.35
SOC volts 1.2
Gear down enabled
ProcODT 60ohms

1600 is 3200 buddy.
DDR stands for double data rate.
Can you post a CPUz screenshot?

press alt+printscreen on the keyboard with cpuz open. Open paint, paste, save the image and upload to photobucket or similar. Then post the link here.

Well the good news is that it is indeed 3200.
Why are you wanting to use 2T instead of 1T?
What motherboard are you using?

a gigabyte gaming 5. i thought i read somewhere that 2t would be easier to hit 3200. will change it back. sweet now i can start on the cpu.

1.425 is what AMD recommend.

So cant get 3200 stable, any pointers on what I should try. Boots windows fine but memtest errors.

Here are my current settings.
Ram is Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 C16 3466MHZ.
Asus X370 prime pro, latest bios.

Tried 1T/2T, GearDownMode(enabled/disabled....dont actually now what that is...

)

Try playing with tRFC and tCWL also Vdimm upto 1.45v

Thanks, no idea what they are to mess with them.

Given up for now, stable at 2933, 3.9ghz @ 1.35v, will do for now.....want to actually use the PC rather than mess with settings/reboot constantly!

Last time I checked prime95 wasn't quite working properly for ryzen. OCCT is a really decent tool, keep an eye on those temps though.
Or, use realbench for 1hour and call that stable like 3 time world overclocking champions.

OCCT Linpac with AVX enabled will find any issues very fast. An 8 hour run on that would say to me.................Yehhhhhhhh i is there.
