Something went wrong, ordered a Mustang, yet ended up in a British hotrod, I blame OcUK!

Yet they put in the fastest lap in both dry and wet conditions in this year's EVO tyre test.

Maybe so but from an average joe public driver ... i.e me , they dont seem to inspire me to push on as i would do so if the road was dry on normal public roads. Maybe im expecting too much. I cant wait to try the MPS4S though.

Exactly the same from me, the Pzero does not inspire confidence, yet I find Michelins really do.

Well, despite the P-Zeros being faster round the track in all conditions, the Michelins still beat them into second place overall, largely due to better feel so that makes sense.

It does, however still seem like the newer PZ4 variant is a very capable tyre which is probably being tainted with the old "P-Zeros are crap" brush rather then being given a fair crack of the whip. I'll be interested to hear your opinions of them as you push the car more and, in due course, how they compare with the PS4Ss you'll inevitably replace them with at some point.

I don't think I have the talent nor the balls to push mine beyond their limits :)

I have had my PZ4 P-Zeros for about 15 months now ... they are on about 5-6mm all round and this year round i have notice the grip level has dropped of a bit and the wheels are tramlining a little bit. They are on 36 PSI around as recommended as well. I have had the wheels step out slightly on roundabouts and such. Dont get me wrong , they are good and predictable but wanted them to perform in the wet that bit more. Im sure they better than your Nankangs or named ditchfinders.

Yup , they are pretty good on the wear level i give them that , and i have just past the 10K miles mark. Assuming they started on 7mm all , 1mm per 5000 miles isnt too bad. Most of my mileage is A/B roads anyways

We'll see how mine fare over the coming year as I have much the same drivetrain as you, although most of my travel is urban.

A very nice car @Gibbo. For some reason I never liked the Mustang, not sure why, this however is a different kettle of fish. Get your sig changed!!!

Question, do you have a motorbike? Sounds like you're quite the petrol head (I consider myself one!) and have just started getting into biking. For 'thrills' - this is where its at!

Trouble with bikes, when crap goes bad, your the airbag/crumple zone.

Bikes are fantastic fun, but, to me, the risk just isn’t worth it, especially given the state of our roads (diesel spills and pot holes) but, more so, the appalling standards of other motorists and their inability to spot bikers, I’ve seen so many taken out over the years it’s completely put me off.

I wonder if Gibbo feels the same?
