They look pretty, but push 'em hard and they go out of spec.
I had a Q-Tec, but when I added a couple more SCSI drives and a DVD player it actually did go out of spec and become unreliable. It did look pretty though, and worked in my main rig for a few months fine.
As I say in my Tagan post - you pay for top quality, but a cheap one may get ya through if you are don't push it too hard.
