Anyone had a problem where NFC stops working? I turned the phone off and on again and definitely made sure it is enabled in the settings but it just doesn't work. I've logged it with Sony but wondered if it had happened to anyone else?

I'll be honest, I've not used nfc on mine. I've just checked and its turned on in the settings, and when I go to the support section and test nfc, it does pickup both the cards in my wallet.

What happens when you try the nfc test on your phone?

Not something I use but tried it in the shop this evening and all worked fine.

Feeling more positive about the device not that I've had it for 2 weeks, but can't believe I'm saying this, miss a few things from Samsung and the niggles I had at first still nag at me.

Will be going hiking in Lake District later this week so will also properly test the camera out, but getting the hang of having to use the Pro mode more now.

Definitely not working even after a factory reset, will have to send it back to Sony

Anyone else experiencing horrible metallic "tinny" sound when recording video in Snapchat?

Microphone is fine otherwise in calls and recording video through default apps.

I've got annoying vibrations when I play music which is getting on my nerves.
I have looked all over my settings with no luck.

Any ideas?

Is dynamic vibration enabled? It's under the sound settings.

Yeah sounds like Dynamic Vibration is enabled, play any sort of media with sound on and touch your volume buttons, you'll also see an option for that so can turn it off from there.

Took a delivery of Note 10+ 5G as a stopgap today and if everything works fine, I'll be getting rid of this phone.

Anyone got the Android 12 update and installed it yet? I have it sat waiting but I have little faith that it will actually make the phone better.

Phone seems okay, installed Android 12 yesterday, biggest changes seem visual, not a lot of change underneath as far as I can see. Looks different, but think I like it.
