**** Sony Xperia Z3 ****

I can't find a macro mode but it may be buried in the other mode modules not checked them all yet. It will object track in both photo and video modes though which is cool.


HDR video only available in 1080P 30fps or in photo mode with 8MP resolution set.
 
I only ask as I had an old cybershot sony ericcson phone years ago..and it could take amazing macro shots even though it was a 3.2 megapixel camera..the lens quality was amazing

I've decided to cancel the Amazon order, Having seen a multitude of photos in various lighting conditions I've decided the Copper looks like a make-up kit :o

Mine still hasn't dispatched yet, delivery estimate still tomorrow though, really hope it is sent, can't find the copper anywhere else
 
You guys should enable the S-Force front surround option it really is amazing. Watching the Note 4 video posted in the other thread and the background instruments and ambient voices etc surround you!

Samsung's own video is enjoyed best when watched with a non Samsung phone :o
 
My Z3 has been delivered today, at last! Shame I'm at work and can't have a play with it though, typical.

I still haven't received a new sim from O2 though. I'm presuming I'm going to need a 4G Nano sim, as my old sim was on a 3G tariff and is a micro sim. Be just my luck for the sim not to turn up :(

I've got the same issue regarding the sim. Are you quite handy with a scalpel/modelling knife? ;)
 
Bah, post has been and no sim card. Luckily there's an O2 shop across from where I work so I'll nip in there and see if they can sort one out for me.
 
Not too silly of a question but are there any reports of Sony's next flagship? Sony are pretty good at churning out new flagships quick time and despite promising I would never go back to Sony (less than stellar experience with the X10 and XS), I am mightily impressed with the Z3 and Z3c. My only slight gripe is using a slower SoC as in a few months the 801 is going to be two refreshes behind. A 1080p/1440p Sony with an 808 or 810 is what I am dreaming of.....:D
