South Park

Crippled summer had some funny bits in it (shark attack) but was nowhere as good as the CENTiPAD episode. For me though the best episode from season 10+ has medicinal fried chicken, probably something to do with the music accompanying the testicular bouncing...

Caught up with the latest episodes now, definitely not vintage quality. Maybe it's just too much of a good thing, but for me South Park hasn't been consistently good since the first couple of series. I keep watching though, each series there are usually 2-3 good or great episodes.

I was about 11 when I first watched South Park. It's good that it matured as I did.

The first couple of series aren't very funny to me any more. Bit too 'trying to be rude' which was just what we needed at that time since I loved cartoons and thought swearing was really cool.

Since, Season 6-ish, it has been more satirical and interesting to watch.

My favourite episode of all time is probably 'With Apologies to Jesse Jackson' (the nagger episode). I also love the Scientology and Christianity episodes ('The Return of Chef' and 'Red Hot Catholic Love' stick out).

I really thought when Germany got angry they would have Nazi soldiers show up at the school. Instead, they do the jew joke with Kyle which might of been in even poorer taste. Why do the creators feel the need to make jokes like this? Does anyone really find it funny?

First episode was good, second one was terrible.

Because it's perfectly ok to insult jews and christians in this screwed up world!

South Park Makes Fun of Royal Wedding

In a brand new South Park episode with the title “Royal Pudding”, the characters make fun of the recent wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

The episode shows the Prince of Canada taking a princess. "It is a joyous time for all Canadians as the royal wedding commences. But just as the prince and princess are about to be joined for all eternity, the princess is abducted."

Here is a short preview clip. Each person looks strangely accurate for South Park characters.

Finally catching up with South Park, I've come to realise I've seen far more than I realised.

Still not my favourite animation though, I think it has a much more defined audience (age wise) than others e.g. Family Guy.

Laughed myself almost to the point of vomiting when Cartman climbs onto his teacher's desk and takes a crap. :p
